With Nyx not moving, a large chunk of the strikecraft moved on to continue their attack on Sion's position. The ones that remained were supposed to either capture or destroy Nyx, but Solomon was able to engage them, distracting them.

"You stay and help your sister and Solomon," Maya ordered Claire, "I'll aid Sion." Obsidian boosted away from Asteria's flight path towards the asteroid.

Claire nodded and did what she was told to, trying her best, despite Asteria's lack of weapons.

Solomon successfully destroyed or set to flight the enemy strikecraft that had stuck around to harass Nyx. Keeping Legion between the enemy position and Nyx, Solomon said, "Quick, fix her up!" forgetting that even if Asteria repaired Nyx, it couldn't wake the unconscious Blythe.

Meanwhile Obsidian had successfully aided in causing the remaining strikecraft to flee from Sion's position. "Regroup!" Maya ordered, "Asteria, take Nyx back to the ship, the rest of you, we're continuing the mission, but switching tactics."

Claire nodded and did what she was told to, taking Nyx back to the ship. Once there she got out of the cog and helped Blythe out of Nyx, to bring her to the hospital wing. The mechanics could probably take care of Nyx.

Nurses came and rushed Blythe to the infirmary on a stretcher.

"Initial diagnosis looks like a mild concussion," said the first responder, "It shouldn't be life threatening."

A call came to Claire on her drive from Maya, "Claire? How's Blythe doing? Report back to combat once you're done."

"It appears that she has a mild concussion." Claire said. She would rather stay with her sister just to make sure that she was alright, but she understood that she had to help with combat again. As a result, she informed one of the mechanics about the damage that had been done to Nyx, before getting back into her own cog and returning to the battlefield.

"Glad to have you back," Maya said t oClaire, "We've cleared out most of the strikecraft, now we just need to make one final push and see how many enemy ships we can disable. Some of them have already escaped, but it can't be helped."

Obsidian started to advance along with Orpheus and Legion; Fury and Mayura stayed behind with the asteroid.

Asteria followed the other three, figuring that up close she'd be of more use than if she stayed behind.

As the enemy ships started to retreat, Obsidian accelerated, ramming into one of the ships like a meteor. Legion and Orpheus fired at another, disabling it, but it was already too late as the remaining ships successfully jumped away. With the battle over, the cogs returned to the hangar.

Once they were back at the hangar, Claire got out of her cog and hoped that there wouldn't be any announcement ir whatever. She wanted to see how her sister was doing.

Maya let Claire go to her sister without a word, in fact, she let Solomon, Israfil, and Tera go as well, but only with Claire's permission. Maya and Sion needed to make a report so they were unable to go see Blythe yet.

Claire headed to the hospital wing right away, not thinking about telling the others that it was fine to come along if they wanted to. She just wanted to make sure that her sister was okay, everything didn't seem to be important at the moment. When she got there she noticed a nurse leaving Blythe's room and approached the woman. "How is she doing? Can I go see her?" She asked, not thinking about being politie or such things.

"She's in stable condition. Of course you can see her," the nurse responds, letting Claire in.

Tera hovered at the door to Blythe's room and asked more to Claire than to the nurse, "M-may we come in as well?"

Claire looked at Tera and nodded. "Yeah, sure." She said, going into the room and seeing that her sister was conscious, though it was odd, seeing her like this. "Hey."

Blythe looked up when she heard her sister's voice and although she had a pounding headache and het memory about what happened a moment ago was blurry, she was just glad to see her, and the others. "Hey."

Tera and Israfil came in, deciding not to pepper her with questions and to just let it remain mostly quiet so Blythe could rest. Solomon came in last with a look on his face that he almost never had: guilt. "I..." he started, rubbing the back of his head, "I'm sorry...about what happened. I could've prevented it..."

Blythe looked at Solomon. The look on his face was odd, she didn't remember having seen him guilty before. And while she didn't like him, she didn't like seeing him like this, neither. "What are you talking about? I remember that we were on a mission, but the rest is just one big blur." She asked, though that didn't explain why Solomon should feel guilty. He had been there and helped out, if she remembered it correctly, so why should he be feeling sorry about something?

"You were surrounded by strikecraft, then you were hit by an enemy ship's cannons, which knocked you out," Tera explained.

"If I had gotten there faster, if I had destroyed more enemies, you might not have been in so much danger," Solomon continued.

"I-it was a lucky hit," Israfil said.

Blythe listened to what the others told her, before she grabbed the collar of Solomon's shirt and pulled him towards her, their faces just inches away from each other. "If there's anything I hate more than weak and whiny people who won't do shit," she started as she glared at Solomon, "than that's people who blame themselves for crap that couldn't have been prevented." She finished. "We fight in battles, people will get hurt, and nobody can do shit about that. Hell, the chances are that we die out there, but that's the risk we're taking, and if it weren't for you, it would've been very likely that I would've died, so stop beating yourself up about it already." She told Solomon.

"I-I see," Solomon said, rather startled by Blythe's action. "I...thanks..." was all he said, assuming that she had forgiven him.

Once she had let go of Solomon, Blythe turned her attention towards Tera. "Was the mission succesful?" She asked, figuring that might as well be nice to know.
