We had gotten used to the old ways and keeping the humans, but they weren't even really ours to keep. These are our people now. I'm really happy with how well the Tari have been developing. I don't actually know anything about her since she was taken, but I think Alec had a thing for her and he hasn't seemed to excited recently. His race has helped him, but he still seems iffy.
