Before Xavalzo could answer any of Edric's requests, his heart had to skip a few beats thanks to a surprising, booming voice. He quickly turned to face a rather fierce looking woman standing between them and the doorway. Being trapped was never good for a thief, or anyone who valued their life for that matter. He turned to his bird and nodded towards the second floor, hoping his companion would understand his order. Sure enough the bird left its perch above fireplace and flew upstairs.
