Fine. I'd love to change it, but I'm just one person and the system has so much inertia to it that I doubt anything short of a revolution could change it significantly. And then the new system that replaces it would inevitably become corrupt itself and refuse to change. You see, politics just seems to bring out the worst in all of us, and I'd rather keep myself clean of it entirely. However, I do recognize that it is important and so I do vote, for all the good it does.
