Well it is always about timing, even thou I always packed some flashbombs and traps when using heavy weapons!
Tigress I always found difficult hunt!  The mixture of raw damage and speed made me dislike the usage of the longsword (My absolute favourite weapon), as well as the gunlance or the hunting horn (stun damage ftw)! I found the sword and shields perfect against him but the movement pattern of it was rather average! 

I just sticked to long sword in the end, like with every other monster xD
Only Fatalis got a little treat with dragon damage dual blades!


But I guess we can get creative during the rp right? Because I have some nice and interesting ideas how to add some extra damage! Like a McGuiver! 

I mean like packing some bomb material into the mouth of a yian Kutku when he is about to spit fire or glueing a sonic bomb onto your hammer! As soon as Cephadrome is swimming by you just have to hit near him and here ya go!

Or hiding a fassbomb by using raw meat on a big wyvern! As soon as he shallows it, BOOOOM!

I want to do shenanigans like that!
