Many people are fooled by her confident demeanor.  Many people call her "Trigger Happy." Many people think she is blood hungry.  But, at the core of her soul, she is a scared introvert who is guarding the most precious jewel known to mankind--the human heart.
[b]History:[/b] Lucy was not born a hunter.  She had not decided to become a hunter.  No, she was forced to become a hunter.
Sometime in her later teens, she moved out of her parents "staunch conservative" household and had become a prostitute, living with her [i]Romeo[/i] pimp. It wasn't about the sex, no.  It was about the medicine he provided--cocaine, heroin.  Of course, the moment she gave her life for her pimp was the moment she ceased seeing the light of day.  She worked all night and was locked in the small apartment all day--with six other women. This was completely opposite of how he treated her when she lived with her parents...  At first the living conditions were bearable, but slowly, as her distribution became more and more dependent on her work, she started feeling her sanity seeping at the seems of her brain.
The only rational decision she was capable of making, was the one she made the night of her escape. The escape wasn't planned but presented to her through a very intriguing and persuasive talk with a new client, one coincidental night. He promised her everything her ""paradise."  Of course, he grabbed at it.
Before she knew it, she was forced off of drugs, pushed into some government backed multi-year long boot camp, and then placed in the middle of a werewolf breeding ground.  Whether she survived was up to her.  Needless to say, Lucy survived. The adrenalin from killing was too good to give up.
