So her ability isn't actually rooted in magic, but instead in natural power like Iravis and Sorchas?  Just seeking confirmation.  Or is that the magic she will gain upon becoming a familiar?  Since she isn't human, she wouldn't actually have magic.  Unless her soul is human, in which case she wouldn't want a master.  I think having it just be a power, if that is what they mythologically have had, would be the best option.

Out of pure curiosity, are nekomimis something born out of ancient religion or modern mythology?  Wikipedia says they first appeared in the 20s, but I know Wikipedia isn't reliable when coming to foreign cultures.
