Sylvia It was going to be one of those days. With a sigh that came out more as a growl, Sylv emerged from her bathroom with her waist-length raven black hair dripping down the gray t-shirt she wore. Reaching her unmade bed, she tugs the pair of faded jeans she'd selected the night before, before moving towards her bedroom door. She was already behind and that would effect the rest of her day unless she somehow manages to get things ready before heading out. It was her first day of University and she needed to be there a little earlier so she could grab a good seat. Reaching the bottom of the steps and taking a right, she pushes the door that leads into the bookstore open and makes it for the front counter. Picking up the clipboard that has the dates of their shipments written out, she scans the current date and relaxed slightly at the time that greets her. Rebecca would be here and hopefully she and Wilson won't kill each other while on shift. Sighing and placing the board back down, she turns on her booted heel and surveys the closets shelves with a frown pulling her lips down. They'd been selling more books as of late, textbooks to children's books and with this shipment, the empty spaces should be completely filled. Huffing and turning to the front door, she pauses when she sees a shadow dart from the display posters that line the windows to the front door. It's too early for- Her thoughts are cut short when a knock on the glass jars her into action. Reaching it and tugging it open, she feels a tick in her jaw as Esther sheepishly rubs the bacompany of her neck. "Hey boss, listen I can-" Esther begins, her blonde curls bouncing as she removes her hands and raises it forward as if to block a punch. Sylv decides to withhold punching her employee and silently question why she's here at 7:45 AM. Esther sighs and drops her hand, sky-blue Rhee focusing on the darkening sky with a pout, Sylv blinks when a keyring is held out and jingled a few moments later. "I forgot my key and neither Wil or Becky are answering their phones so I thought-" "You thought I'd be here to let you in. Greet plan, now if you don't mind opening? I have class at eight-fifteen." Sylv states blandly, moving aside and letting her bubbly employee in before shutting the door and locking it once more. The Seasonal Bookstore didn't open until eight anyway, turning to head back ton grab her bag and keys, she pauses when she sees Esther's head tilted in a sigh of confusion. Glancing up, Esther lifts the clipboard in her hands and blinks her eyes. "Who order a bunch of books on Mythological creatures?" Sylv blinks and tilts her head, she remembered an employee that had asked her if they sold those typed of books, she looked disappointed when Sylv had said no. "A customer asked for those types of books and locked downtrodden when I told her we didn't sell them here. Tell Wil and Becky when they come in later to play that order on the cleared shelved near the History section." With the nod and grin from Esther, Sylv made her way back to the door that separated her home from the store. Grabbing her keys from the bowl on the table and bag from the chair she'd left it in last night, she turns to head out. Grabbing a jacket and slipping it one before her bag, Sylv let's herself out the side door and takes a brief moment to breath in the morning air. Half-turning to lock the door, she slips her keys into her pocket before taking off down the sidewalk. [@Briza]
