Several questions:
A) Can Ink magic include tattooed runes and the like?
B) Are there such things as runes? Patterns and ancient [or something of the like] symbols that have power when energy is drawn through them- such as taking from the host's body to perform an action, such as strengthen magical attacks, or increase resistance to certain attacks, at the sake of one's own energy? 
C) Can an elf learn and be skilled at two or three or four types of magic? Elves are very long-lived, after all.
