Hitori merely raised an eyebrow in annoyance at the Half-Blood. His Fury would have to be sated later and while the drop downward would have the promise of a feast he knew better, down there would be a hellstorm and several armed soldiers and possibly magic users or those Souless things made from the world. Those things really set him on edge. Besides and most importantly though there was nothing for him back in Alexandria and he had already invested to much time and energy into the cause of this "Monica".

In that Moment when Monica seemed to mourn though Hitori had noticed something odd. The Woman did not have a scent typical of one of her kind and seemed to have a connotation of another species. No...that can't be right.... She doesn't have the scent of a half-breed and definitely appears to be a basic human. This would require further investigation on the Kumiho's behalf. As They all went into the Interior of the hull a persistent nagging could be felt as the Cat Doll Ada climbed onto Hitori's shoulder and began to tug upon his ears while nagging him in a high pitched warbling that Hitori could clearly understand.

"Well what was I supposed to do Ada? Just let the Bomb blow up the Ship and kill us all?" Hitori responded as the doll bopped him on the face, expressing its clear displeasure.

"I know you are still salty about dying and being stuck in a doll body but that doesn't mean I want the Same thing to Happen to these people. They actually cared enough to have me come along and I have invested a lot of effort into them." Hitori tried to explain to Ada, the Cat Doll huffed and warbled something again.

"Look I'm a Kumiho, we are Passionate and we are Wild, I sometimes let my instincts get the better of me. I'll try and make it up to everyone in my own ways but for now I need to start small." Hitori said to his strange to friend.

Ada grumpled and warbled something again. Hitori thought for a moment, "Look, I can't do much I can try and give you a decent afterlife while I'm still alive. So umm..... I could buy you some Fancy Doll Clothes that are more to your liking?"

The Doll pondered before nodding in agreement with this plan. Hitori sighed in Relief, at least his companion would be pleased for the time being.

He decided to search for "Monica".

Something about Monica was way off... Her body did not... feel as outlined...
However the only real items there were marbles and a few potions.
"I smell weird do I? Ya know... Not the impossibility I sweat... Right? But of course let the kitty cat try to judge, because she knows everything does she? Maybe if you took me to dinner first I would not mind..." She teased; goaded rather.

"Got what you're looking for...?" Monica teased.

Baku sighed.
"The ring. Off with it."

"Why? It has no importance." She looked at her Rune like ring, it had many circular Glyphs on it.
"If it wasn't important, you would not be so hesitant to remove it. Now take it off darling." Baku walked to her as the wheel was stable due to locking mechanisms he pulled.
She somewhat backed up.

"You'll not have it thief!"
"Thief!? You stole our mark!"
"I Brought here to you! What do you mean 'stole' !?"
"Yeah! And nearly gotten us blown to smithereens!"

Monica looked cross as she crossed her arms, looking to the side, giving him the hand.
"No!"

Garnet signed.
"Is now really the time for this? I can over power her if she had any means of capturing me. So no, I can defend myself." Garnet showed her sword.

"Look, I'm not going to take it. Just let me see it!" Baku reached for the other hand, forcing the ring off as Hitori was clearly able to see.

"Noooo!" The voice was not that of a female... In fact... Where Monica stood was a rather decorative individual.
The person had armor over his legs, feet, hands, and even wore a white panther like helmet. There was a feline tail.
The frame was rather... androgynous. The person stood at appropriately Six feet in height, having considerable height over Karn.

"Wh.. what?" Baku simply blinked... the ears were certainly not that of a Demi human.
"Did you... Pose as that little.."
"Yes. That... right there is my means of blending in..." The male replied with a lisp.

"The helmet..." Baku pointed.

"Will you not relent...?" The male scoffed.
"No. This is kind of funny." Baku chuckled.

The male took off the helmet, there was brown shoulder length hair that was somewhat curled at the cowlicks that were to the right and left of his forehead. Several scars were visible, one on the right nostril, several on one cheek. Two on the forehead, two by each ear in roughly the same area. His skin was pale, eyes had dark circles under them, and the iris' themselves were hazel green.

"Happy?" He somewhat glared, his squarish glasses hanging on his face.

Baku blinked. "Could have fooled me and said you were the Princess." He joked.

"Very funny. Now can I have my gear back...?" He extended his hand back for the ring.
"Hmm... No. It cost to ride.~"
"You... I brought here her for the sake of- Know what? Why am I bothering, this is pointless..." The Stranger shook his head.

Hitori walked in on this an was shocked to say the least. He knew the scent was off and now knew why he couldn't originally place the scent, he was smelling for the wrong thing. "Lumyian..." he whispered to himself. He saw the captain of the vessel withhold the possessions of his companion and felt it wrong, they did their job as requested and this is how they were treated in exchange. Hitori had enough of this and promptly walked up to Baku and Beguiled him. He reached out with his soul and made Baku a little more compliant.

"Now then my good sir, you are neglecting fair trade and agreements that had been previously arranged. At least that is what is my understanding of this scenario. You are provided with a safe escape and you have been given your Hostage fairly. All of these contributions were provided for in full and now you wish to steal from this poor man simply because he was doing his mission and kept his identity secret. For shame my Good Sir." Hitori chastised Baku with the Concern of a Loving Relative, making this beguilement feel all the more powerful.

"I am a Kumiho and as my species has the unfortunate stereotype of being Bloodthirsty soul sucking liver devouring Monsters I do feel that you Sir are behaving quite unduly. However I am a Kumiho and I am willing to offer you something more worth your while than this measly ol Ring here." Hitori said as he effortlessly swiped the Ring from Baku. Hitori then reached into his Sleeve and withdrew a Satchel filled with a rather large amount of Gil. This wasn't an Illusion, this was true Gil. It always served to have a good Bartering Chip.

"What I am doing is buying the Ring off of you for a far greater price than it is worth. This is a sign of good blood between us as both being victims of circumstances. Should you accept this offer there will be absolutely no quarrel between us and I shall provide Services for the Crew in exchange for my own being here. If however we can Come to no Such Arrangement I will be very Cross and well I hate what would fall you with a rather Cross Kumiho on your hands. Still I would rather not have to resort to such atrocities and would like to propose good blood and a bargain of neighborly friendship with you. So come now, what do you say?" The Beguilement was working its way on Baku and Hitori had simultaneously Charmed, Chastised, Threatened, Cajoled, Negotiated, and Befriended the Man. The Odds were in his favor, he was old and canny and had been doing this since before the time of this Mans grandfather.

Baku merely blinked each moment. He was threatened on his ship, after he was battered with...?
"I'd punch your gem out of your head if you didn't have such a big sack of gil. But what good is it to me if I cannot be guaranteed safety?"

"If I may..." The Princess stepped in.
"He is a Lumyian, they are capable of premonition and foretold the coming war..." Garnet seemed more concerned about a possibility.

"Hmm... Fine. But I have my eye on you..." He handed the ring to Hitori before holding the large sack of gil.
Garnet smiled at the result of the rather passive aggressive negotiation, approving of Hitori's ability to not end the situation in bloodshed.

The Stranger sighed before walking out of the bridge. He walked onto the deck where they were quite a ways out of Alexandria.
He paced around a bit before noticing the stowaway known as Dren.

"You can come out now. The danger has passed for now." He placed his helmet back on.

Dren, finally raising his eyes to see someone... again, someone he did not recognize. Certainly not someone in uniform at the very least, so chances were this wasn't an opportunity to arrest him... still, he kept a firm gloved hand on his cane as he stood up fully.
"Is it now? Well that's bloody good..." He grumbled, running a hand over his cloak briefly to flick it back into tidiness. "So, what exactly is going on now? I heard the explosion and... the screams. What in the name of blue hell has happened on this ship?" He was incredibly frustrated, having been drug into such a seemingly sordid affair against his will... and now with no clear way to get back to Alexandria. Oh if word of this got around, his reputation would be ruined...

The Stranger simply folded his arms. He stayed calm for the most part, though it wasn't likely his expression would not be seen through the helmet. He did however seem to straighten his back out before taking a breath. "The Bomb was defeated. But... The Gas in it was still active. Anyone who knows even the basic principles of alchemy knows a gas, will always remain as gas in. Especially in a Bomb's case." he took another breath.

He turned to the city that was in view. "The Kumiho pushed it off with some... being of a sort. I believe it was a familiar? But upon impact it exploded, possibly killing many and causing damage in the process. That is the short, and whole of it. As for the ship's condition? I cannot say. But, what I will say is... I'm sorry for dragging you onto this." The male turned from the city, to Dren, bowing his head slightly before stretching his arms out a bit, bringing them closer together, not quite touch, but simply staying in parallel, dipping forward. He rose slowly.

"However... You should probably go inside. If the Alexandrians send a ship after us, things could get messy for you." He said flatly before entering the ship.

Rather than heading for the bridge... He went to the engine works, where he walked to the red Squirrel.
"Sooo... How do you like the promotion... or should I say a field work on the Maiden Voyage to freedom?" There was mixed sarcasm in his voice that Randy would more than likely get.

On the Bridge, Garnet exhaled a bit.
"It isn't over yet. If I know my mother, which I can vouch I do. She will be relentlessness... And your craft isn't battle ready." She said bluntly.

"Hmm... The lady isn't wrong." Baku thought aloud.
Garnet simple took a seat in a benched like chair.
"We'll figure it out. You'll get to Lindblum safely. But I hope your judgment is correct about the Lumyian for all our sakes." Baku shook his head slightly.

"Ye gods..." Dren glanced over the side of the ship down below at where the bomb had hit... jeezus, innocent lives lost... this was not part of his business. He was a merchant, not a murderer... nor a cohort TO murderers. He looked back to the strange individual with a slight tilt of the heat and adjusting his top hat.

"W-what?! Coming after us?! I'm not a part of this, what have you even gotten me into here?!" Dren demanded to know, but followed him regardless. Even if he didn't trust this stranger as far as he could throw him... right now Dren didn't exactly have a lot else to go on. He was a little scared and considerably confused, having arrived here just to watch a simple play and now being plunged into some deadly scenario with soldiers nipping his heels... even his spells and items wouldn't match a platoon of soldiers.

Karn glanced at 'Monica' at the words and gave a slight smirk. "I know what sweat smells like. I'm on this ship with a bunch of people who either don't shower or are constantly sweating. Or both. And hey, I don't know everything. I'm just a smartass jerk." she replied, ears flicking as she finished the pat down, giving a soft hum in response, eyes blatantly blankly staring at Monica's chest. Feeling a strong urge to grope them to see if they were real. Something felt off. The smell and the pat down just confirmed her sense of unease. Feline ears perked however as Boss spoke up and the two got into a little argument.

"Boss we are thieves. And technically she stole the Alexandria Gemstone. Let us rejoice in comradeship." Karn nonchalantly pointed out to both of them, speaking a little sarcastically in the end with a slight smirk. Glancing at the princess as she spoke up.

"Doesn't take brute strength to catch someone." The Demi-Human hummed, stretching out her arms a bit and cracking her knuckles. Emerald eyes watching as Boss finally managed to take the ring and reveal the true form of their stowaway. "Knew something was off. Crossdressers." she mused in feign disappointment as she had to crane her neck a bit to look up at the taller individual. Frame wise was a bit like Karn, cept the height sorta made the stranger lean toward male. Unless those few cases of tall females.

The Kumiho soon entered and decided to confront Baku. The Demi-Human rolled her eyes a little, ears flicking as she listened. "Gee Boss, didn't realize you made a surprise arrangement to kidnap the Gemstone. Here I thought Blank was suppose to go do the kidnapping." she said sarcastically as the Kumiho pointed out a apparent previous arrangement made. Suppose it wouldn't be anything new, but sometimes made things complicated. As the fox continued she clicked her tongue a little. "Right. And basically burning maybe fifty to a hundred of civilians and branding us murderers and give threatening barks at your basically only ride and the people you just gave a bad name is not unduly." she said sarcastically, emerald gaze flicking to Boss as he eventually agreed, thanks to the Princess pointing out a Lumiyan's talent. Plus, Boss didn't exactly turn away Gil. So if Boss didn't particularly care and not give the go to basically beat the shit out of the fox, the Demi-Human didn't particularly care either.

Watching the Lumyian leave, Karn rubbed the back of her head and glanced out the window. "With our luck, we'll probably end up crashing somewhere absolutely wonderfully." she grinned with a mild shrug, leaning against the wall. Her job was to guard the Princess, otherwise she'd just go and continue working on the engines. Hopefully Fluffytail has it under control. Still, got to be ready to be under attack by possibly chasing Alexandrian ships. It's too bad this airship doesn't have weapons, but their group was mostly based on stealth and trickery more so then charge and blow up shit. They were thieves, not exactly mercenaries.

Randy had made his way down into the engine works from where he had originally stepped out from to being with. He pressed his hands up against his cheeks somewhat and took in a deep breath in order to calm down from the previous awkwardness presented by encountering the captain of the ship that was above. He hoped the message had been received and had gotten to the captain clear enough. He seemed unsure on what he had actually said the captain up above, what was it exactly? His mind fluttered and briefly panicked about something so small as he continued into the engine works of the ship. Whatever it was, it was quite too late now to go back and correct it or pop up and say something yet again. The captain, did seem busied and worried, though not overly so probably just the right amount that Cap’ should have been. Randy’s mind continued to flutter about and his nose twitched somewhat at something but this had not been something of full awareness or at least not at this very moment.

He needed to calm down, even if it ‘twas only to calm down by just a little from his current state of mind. He bit down on his left cheek and tried fiddling with the misbehaving button from earlier but that seemed practically useless in effect as he continued about the innards of the ship. Dragging along the wrench and trying to immediately board up any and every hole in the hull he could find with some material that would hopefully be found inside the supply closets or rooms themselves that were around the ship. The work of trying to run and complete repairs and actually having some work to accomplish was actually quite effective way of calming down. He was even feeling less weird for a few seconds.

For the sake of it and a bit of silliness and a bit of a daydream he tried making something up along the way. Most of it was muttering to himself aloud. Not being very conscious of it. “Twas the night that the stars aligned had I met you out upon the grassy plains. The wind called and whistled to thine ear that the time of destiny and determination was upon us. For the river of time would flow ever onward and many a trial shall standeth in our path. The journey to be undertaken will be like the carver’s knife against our skin and so-“ He was in the middle of making a large upward sweeping gesture with his left arm to exaggerate what he was saying, when someone was upon him.

Should have noticed them for miles away. It was especially awkward being caught messing around and making up some nonsense lines or words with no real point besides distraction and entertainment. He really should escape the confines of his mind more often instead of delving further into them and messing around. He set both of his arms down and his back facing toward the one who had asked about Randy’s current career position. He felt like there was something beating at a fast pace inside of his stomach as if it was a drum. He also felt like he was puffing out a little, but surely that was only his imagination. He took a moment, of slight internal screaming though the reason and emotion of such was, unclear. He looked over his shoulder to the one who had come to the lower plains inside the ship. “…It is fine.” Were the words that were barely squeezed out of his throat to answer the question asked.

The man chuckled at Randy's antics. "Maybe you should have been up on stage tonight." he teased before walking a bit closer, arms folded.
"In all seriously. At ease. But... Want to tell me how you're holding up here?" Whoever this man was, he seemed to have connection to an Engineer here. This figure may have been illusive to many, but he was caring enough. In fact, he probably was the most innocent person aboard.

The male looked around the area to seeing the patches around the walls, and some tape around holes. These were temporary fixes as he could see. "Sorry I could not have... the proper equipment placed here in advanced. But... if anyone seems to know how to make due with things, it is most certainly you. Mc Guvver." He chuckled.

"But... onto a more serious update. The Bomb was taken down and knocked off the ship. So... We are safe for now..." There was somewhat of a lamenting tone in his voice. He was not prepared for how the Bomb was handled. "But... It isn't over yet. If... Anyone with any thought in their head, would predict that well..." He sighed. "Expect Alexandrian ships to attack this non battle ready ship... I need you to hold it together." The male than turned to Dren. He had nothing to say.

"Umm..." He uttered.
"What is your talent if I may ask?" He tilted his head.

On the Bridge, a male with red hair entered; it was sticking up somewhat, veering to the back as if it was a really long cowlick; but this was mostly at first glance that it would appear that way. He had a strap that covered his eyes, as well as holding his hair back and over his head slightly. One notable feature is he hardly had any. He was somewhat short, had black boots with wool filling around the wide opening's to where one would place their feet in. And... he wore some sort of leather leotard.

Garnet somewhat raised a brow under her robes at the sight of this man... He did not seem appropriate.

"Seems to me you got the girl, ey kitty?" The red head joked with a Grin.

"If only she could take credit for this. But no, it is a stowaway who gathered her. As well as that prickly fox." Baku shook his head before holding onto the wheel again.

"Stowaway?"
"Ninja Looking Fellow."
"Heh? You serious? Aren't those a myth?" The Red head grinned, having a hard time believing what he was hearing.

Dren followed him indoors... he looked around. Surrounded by people he didn't recognize and had no reason to trust... this day couldn't possibly get any worse, could? And then lo and behold, they were going to be attacked. How was it he, a man of his statue and position, had ended up amidst what he could only assume are terrorists? Why else would they have stolen the ship like this? He was just a civilian in this kind of situation... did they seriously expect him to fight alongside them? Well with the young man's question, that sure seemed to answer itself...

"Well... I know my black magic." He held his cane below the head as if to demonstrate. "And i happen to be carrying an assortment of curative items. Phoenix downs, elixirs and the like." He jostled his sleeve slightly and a bottle slid into his hand to demonstrate, containing the elixir."Don't tell me you're expecting me to fight amidst... these people." He cast an untrusting eye around the interior of the ship.

Hitori silently ignored all the negative talk from these people, you would think they would had rather have died in a fiery explosion with the way they kept carrying on about such trivialities as "Murder". People Live and Die and are born again over and over and over and they care not for what they were in the past, after living with this for a few centuries Hitori had just become hardened to it and very rarely did the deaths of those he did not personally know affect him any way, shape, or form. He supposed it was a Cultural thing that he would never be able to fully understand. This Karn though he was finding to be quite grating with her need to constantly stir the shit pot, if she kept up the stirring of the Shit then she would eventually have to Lick the Spoon. Still she wasn't any of his Concern for the time being, he had to find the Lumyian and return what was taken from him. Hitori may have been some what indifferent to the Lives of others but he understood all too well the Value of things you hold important and wasn't about to let the Lumyian get Robbed like that, especially by that blowhard of a Stage Pirate. He looked at the ring in his hand.

It was a simple Silver affair with a few sigils faintly carved into the interior along with what appeared to be a wiring of sorts. He also Noticed there seemed to be a small opening on it that would provide a place for a Gemstone. Hitori figured the best way to win the trust of someone who probably hated him for no reason was to take a gift and make it nicer. He walked toward a corner of the ship and removed from his sleeve a Ruby Red Gem that seemed to flicker with an inner Fire, "Hello again Ifrit, to make up for the passing of your former Master I am going to give you to someone whom I hope you will grow to love." He whispered to the Gem before expending a little of his Magic to fuse the Gemstone into the Ring, Hitori couldn't help but smile, "Beautiful..."

He left the Corner paying no mind to the Rest of the Crew or the Princess and instead He found the Stranger speaking to the Young Man he had interacted with before and over heard the conversation, he found that the Young Man was being rather disrespectful to the Crew. As much as Hitori didn't care for the Crew he still found it quite sad to hear such disparaging Remarks.

"Young Man it is a shame to consider yourself above the stations of these People who have found themselves dragged into a coup they did not intend for while considering yourself to be entirely innocent for the things you may have done in your time, however that is your decision to do so and I have no position to tell you otherwise. However I must ask you to please leave momentarily, I'd like to speak to the Lumyian in Private if he would be so kind to indulge an old Fox." He spoke calmly and evenly. Not bothering to mince his words, he had to take care of a piece of business.

The Lumyian turned his view to the approaching Fox. His expression was hard to see through his helmet.
Before he nodded for him to step forward, he wanted to raise a point to the Magician.
"Not everyone might seem as savory as the next or last. But with you passing judgment that way, a circle will forever form. You judge them, they judge you. And everyone seems judgmental so far... But.. Maybe you should talk to people before passing judgment?" He was not trying to demean the man.

"Hmm... I can't do magic though." He folded his arms.
"Did you... Make those potions yourself?"

He looked to the Kumiho once again. "You can just talk to me here. But... Might I ask what it is you need?"

Seeing as the Lumyian wouldn't be so trusting of him Hitori merely opened his palm revealing the modified ring, "I wanted to give you this. I know you might not be terribly fond of me and I hold no animosity toward you if you do. However you did me a kindness by not letting me get taken my the Alexandrians and I in turn feel I should do so by you. I made a simple Modification to your ring though, nothing that would be detrimental to its integrity, just a means for you to better protect yourself. That and I feel this summon would feel more comfortable in your hands."

Ada had an expression of recognition before warbling to Hitori what he knew upon looking at the Lumyian. Hitori listened to what Ada had to say and Smiled, "Is that so? Well I must say he does have a very nice Name but I highly doubt he would want to befriend me....Alright I'll tell him."

Hitori looked back at Cassius, "My Friend Ada says 'Hello there and the Fox who's shoulder I sit upon is a bit of an impulsive idiot so please do forgive some of his....cultural misunderstandings....' Was that good enough Ada?" He asked the Cat Doll who then nodded in approval.

"At any rate though I just wanted to give you back your Ring. I'll leave you be now." He said as he handed Cassius the Ring.

Dren frowned at the individual speaking... he felt an odd sense of familiarity untoward him... he couldn't place it, but something definitely struck him about this particular person... and yet here they were antagonizing him. The utter gall of it, he thought.

"I came here to watch a play and now i'm a target of the land... I would say I am innocent in this situation, I have done nothing to be a part of this and yet I am thrust into these matters of which I have no stake." He defended himself with a slight ruffle of his coat at the end of his sentence. No-one was truly and completley innocent, of course. That was utterly impossible. Yet in this situation, Dren truly believed he had done nothing to deserve this. He turned back to the other fellow and showed him the bottle. "Yes, it is self brewed. I trade for ingrediants and glassware then create my wares. They're all very potent, I assure you." he swished the bottle around a bit as if to prove it.

Hitori merely looked at the Magician, there was so sympathy, pity, or even disdain for him. He just simply noticed that he would probably be the one to betray them in the end, like it or not this poor fool was part of this and in time he would learn to accept this as an unfortunate facet of life.

"What ever helps you sleep at night." He said to the Magician before handing the Ring to the now not so strange Stranger or as he had learned from his new friend Ada, "Cassius", and departing for other parts of the ship. He felt that as much as he would like to make himself useful it would probably be all for naught. Something Terrible was more than likely coming there way and it would make the Tragedy of the Bomb incident look like a Paper Cut.

He looked out the one of the windows on the side of the hull, waiting for what may possibly come. These people obviously hated him just for being and he would not mourn their passing but there were others on this Vessel who had Carved out a Life and a Family with each other and they would feel the full brunt of what may come. Hitori had been alive long enough to see enough wars to last him an eternity, War was always ugly and Senseless but in many cases provided a Prelude to Fine Dining among Scavengers Birds and Kumiho, still he was worried. The Lady Garnet, while still young and a bit naive to the ways of the world, knew full well of what the Alexandrian Military was capable of and from what he had heard Baku say as well as from what he had seen of the vessel first hand that this was not an offensive or defensive capable ship.

Still if he could say anything about the ship he would say that it was beautiful in its simplicity and you just couldn't beat a view of the clouds like this. Riding vessels such as these was a privilege that he always enjoyed. He noticed Ada looking out the ship with his shiny button eyes and couldn't help but smile at the little doll, for all his preening an prissy behavior when he was still alive he was actually quite enjoyable company like this.

Randy tried to be at ease and more relaxed but in all honesty it was not working out very well. He continued to feel a rhythmic beat inside his stomach and continued to have an odd feeling or thought that he was puffing out with slight panic or worry. He began fiddling with the button once more, but in more of an unconscious manner. He muttered briefly to himself and glancing away. “Probably would have set the whole ship on fire if I even attempted a line or another..” He let out a nervous chuckle and focused back toward the ‘man’ that he knew and that title was there for a single reason or so. “Doing fine as always, think today has been one of the busiest for a while now.” His fiddling with said button began to pick up in pacing. “Making, do..” He glanced down at the floor. “Bomb?” He seemed, surprised about the mention of such. “Oh, yes, well, kind of the occupation..” He chuckled a bit at the request of holding the ship together. Before attention was turned elsewhere.

He looked over to unassumingly a merchant, for a brief moment. He was going to mention how some of the products mentioned might be helpful in certain situations before he was looked upon in a weird way. For a brief moment he assumed there was something on his face, or that his overalls had fallen down completely, with another button not working properly as it should. Another had come along and presented a ring to the ‘man’ or Randy’s boss more like, accompanied by a doll. They mentioned something like privacy but it did not seem like such was going to arrive and they took off after some kind of debate of guilt and innocence between the group.

Randy was not entirely sure if he should stay or go. He definitely did not want to go and leave at the moment as was likely shown by his standing still and silent for the most part. Although his understanding for the reason behind such was not clearly written. Whether it was for better or for not was also blurry at the moment but it mostly seemed like standing around was the option being stuck to.

Karn simply watched the fox go brushing her fingers through her blonde hair. Suppose he was slightly mature enough to get riled up, still the foxes seemed to lack much understanding or compassion. For beings supposed to have cunning, it didn't seem to appeal to all. There were consequences for both actions, then again there was always consequences. Pushing those from her mind, her ears perked up as Blank entered in and the feline gave a grin in return. Slightly shrugging and giving a over exaggerated sigh as Baku corrected about who exactly captured the Princess.

"Sadly that is correct. Fortune didn't smile upon me to give me the great honor of getting the beautiful maiden this time. Just two fellows who for some reason decided to do the work for us. One a prickly fox, and the other a illusion cross dressing Lumi. But hey it wasn't all bad, Boss got a nice sack of gil. Besides the fact we may be getting hunted down this very moment and possibly get shot out of the sky, we got the girl, some gil, and beat a bomb. Now if only we could get you a shirt, I'd call this mission a pretty good solid B so far." Karn joked with a playful grin at her comrade. Blank was one of the better fighters of the crew, besides her. Not as good as Baku but hey, Boss was tougher then he looked when he put his mind to it.

"Fortune did not smile you say?" Blank chuckled. He flexed a bit. "Should have made sure I was with you." He patted Karn on the back.
"Aye. But if they are useful, they are useful. But the Lad has no weapons on him. But... That play sword fight was neat... But you could tell it was safe swash buckling." Baku spat.

"Beatrix started me safe when I started learning the way of the sword." Garnet commented.
"Trained by Beatrix you say? That is quite a claim that should not be advertised." Baku shook his head.

"You have to admit, having that level of a title is intimidating to hear. But I thought Royalty was more about politics and less about fighting." Blank grinned, slightly condescending to Garnet.

Garnet simply looked at him, her hood barely covering her face as her hazel-nut eyes watched him.
"Err... Right." Blank retracted his gaze as she stared before looking to Karn.

"Probably should test what he knows..." Blank thought aloud.

Meanwhile below, in the engine room. The Lumyian accepted the ring, and to his surprise... the projection did not appear to his dismay.
This was disappointing as it was his only means to blending into a human crowd. He sighed at his misfortune. "Thank you for getting my ring back... But..." He blinked as he looked at the odd doll, to what he was being told.

"Why is...." He blinked again.
"What did you do to the Deputy director...?" The named "Cassius" blinked at the doll on Hitori's shoulder.
He saw the doll bobble around, waving a stubby hand around. "OhmygodCidisgoingtoKillyouall." Cassius muttered his head in disbelief. He signed before looking to Dren... "If... You can get me to Lindblum... with the Princess... Would you like a job...?"

Cassius looked to his ring.
"Why don't you work...?" He muttered.
"And why don't you learn to be thankful?" A voice echoed in his head. His tail stood up on end.
"I am Ifrit, seeing as you wear the ring that binds me to you, you're my new master... Another Sassy Moon child I see... At least be prideful of your race rather than conceal..." There was a voice that seemed heavy, yet slightly gaudy. Perhaps the voice was just displeased? Or mocking...?

"Umm... Hii Ifrit..."
"Hi...?" The voice responded.
"Err...?"
Ifrit chuckled in his head. "Well... Now that I have you talking. I want you to know that you can call upon my power, as Alonso once did. But I want you to use it for Self defense... You children are so fragile..." He cackled.

What did I just accept...?
"A Eidolon." Ifrit replied.

Never expected you to be so... responsive. Cassius thought.

"Every Eidolon is responsive, same to Familiars and the like. Just most don't listen. With you wearing me on your finger, it is just that much easier. Now stop staring like a fool and stand up straight with your chest out!" Ifrit roared.

Dren was given a moment of quiet to think about his situation. Here he was aboard this ship. Thus far he had no reason to trust any of them. But he was a smart man, not some common vagabond. He could think his way out of this, surely.

He glanced at them each in turn. The fox was the one who worried him the most of the lot... those eyes. Something struck him about those eyes... not to mention after a single utterance he had somewhat leapt upon the chance to belittle him. He'd need to keep an eye on him. There was simply something off. Then there was the large engineer fellow... he didn't look particularly threatening. Chances were he could just be a middle man for the more important players, an intermediary of sorts. He felt doubtful about considering him a threat... but then this last one, the one who'd gone and fetched him. Dren remained unsure as to his purpose in all of this... he certainly seemed to have an agenda parallel to the rest. These three were the important ones, he considered... were he given the chance, he could name the lot of them and perhaps escape further accusation as a result. He might still be able to salvage some reputation if he made for a far away city for the time being.

"Get you to Lindblum? Do you take me for a bodyguard?" he inquired with a sideways look at him, hand grasping the ball of his cane. "And what kind of job could you possibly offer me? I'm not exactly unconvinced i'm riding with unrequited fellows at present." He was aware of his snippy tone at this point, especially toward the individual who seemed to at least be somewhat kind... but this whole thing stank anyway.
