Up the road to the school, a black towncar coasted smoothly toward it's destination. Inside, Clairemont de Liette-Kiermo and her lifelong butler/caretaker Vernon both silently considered their personal thoughts. Some might think that would make for a long and dreary ride, but Claire was practically radiating excitement, gazing out her window with supreme intensity, waiting for the first glimpse of her new home. Soon the treeline broke and she saw it, Viewfront Academy.

It wasn't much longer before the car coasted to a stop at the gates and Vernon stepped out, reaching over to open Claire's door. The young heiress stepped gracefully onto the cobblestones and gazed up at the building.
