Name: Aya Kagamine (Kagamine Aya)
Hero Name: Ayaka (a combo of her first and last name), though she is sometimes referred to by her real given name.
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: Aya is a woman of average height, standing at around 167 cm. Her short black hair is swept to the left and she's easily distinguished by her somewhat large, deep red eyes and athletic figure.
Superhero Appearance: Aya's closet is mostly made up of an array of different hoodies. Aside from that, she's often seen wearing knee length shorts and simple running black shoes.
Personality: Aya's personality isn't anything too out of the ordinary; she's often perceived as a short tempered and fierce person. Stubborn, fearless, and brutally honest, Aya doesn't really attract much positive attention. Although she seems very impatient and hot headed, Aya's actually a very passionate and determined person. Whether it be saving the city from a monster blob or simply trying to express her artistic skills, Aya will see it to the end. She's even a bit socially awkward too, for, well… reasons. Aya will usually be the one to linger in the background, but once that spark lights the fire there's no going back.
Equipment: - Shoulder bag: Where Aya keeps all that lovely jubbly spray paint can stuff. - Spray paint cans: Not your typical set of spray paints. - A bottle of perfume: Perfume in your eyes is never a nice thing. So, don't piss of Aya to the point where she has to resort to this. Just… don't.
Abilities: With her not-so-normal spray paints, Aya can use a variety of different abilities. - Red Can: This allows Aya to spew flames from her can. By spraying it on someone or something, her can emits regular flames with regular effects. - Yellow Can: This allows Aya to spew lightning from her can. By spraying it on someone or something, her can emits large sparks of lightning to either shock the opponent (mentally and physically) or deal some damage to wear down an opponent. - Green Can: This allows Aya to temporarily set up barriers by spraying a circle around herself. These barriers aren't overly strong, and can only fully function if the ring is less than or exactly two metres in diameter. - Blue Can: This allows Aya to produce gusts of wind from her can. By spraying the paint in a zigzag motion, Aya can increase the power of her wind attacks. - White Can: This allows Aya to make cool ice structures and such. Basically toned down Elsa from Frozen in a can of spray paint. - Black Can: This allows Aya to spew smoke from her can. By far one of her most dangerous cans. Even though this can be used for something as simple as a smokescreen, inhaling large amounts of this stuff can pretty much kill you. So, stay away from it. It'll save your life. Unless you're another annoying little villain. In that case, snort all the smoke you want. It's not like Aya's going to complain anyway. These unusual spray paint cans do have their [s]unusual[/s] weaknesses though. Refills are needed whenever the cans are running low, and the less 'paint' means the less effective its abilities become. Also, these cans are only able to be used when physical contact is made with them, so Aya must keep her hands wrapped around the cans at all times during usage. For some reason, these cans only need regular refills to be able to be used again... Aya never really went into depth about it, but she assumes there's something in the can that converts red refills into fire, blues into ice etc.
Skills: - Freerunning: Aya's athletic build gives her a great advantage in this. Her added experience makes her a talented freerunner, so she is able to make escapes quite quickly. - Parkour: Another talent Aya possesses. Again, her athletic body and experience makes her a natural at this. - Hand-to-hand combat: While she doesn't particularly exceed in it, Aya can throw a couple of good punches and kicks. Although these hits may start off strong, they seem to quickly weaken as time passes. - Precise perception: Surprisingly enough, Aya is very good at telling whether people are lying or not. While not necessarily a superhuman ability, her extreme perception is almost like no other. Her chromesthesia is one of the reasons for this. Through people's voices, Aya is able to tell the difference between truth and tale; if she sees green in your voice then it's game over for you.
Brief Backstory:
As a child, Aya wasn't very social with her classmates. For some reason, the girl just saw the world very… differently. She would always see colours. Lots and lots of them. Aya didn't even need to know the names of the people in her class to know who they were. As long as she knew their colours she would be able to tell which one was which in a heartbeat. But, Aya was still young, and so was everybody else in her class. It was only her that viewed the world from an entire different light, though, and the kids around her didn't seem capable of accepting that. Nobody was fond of this weird little girl, which caused her to feel lonely and alienated from the other children. She wasn't any different from them, so why where they being so harsh on her? She didn't even do anything wrong, did she? So why was she seeing so much red and green in their voices? The thought of seeing those colours spilling out of another child's mouth made Aya want to gag. It made her upset. It made her lonely. As the years passed, Aya decided she had enough. She wasn't going to tolerate this nonsense anymore. First, it started off with small comebacks. Then actual arguments. And after that came the daily bickering between classmates. Then a well deserved punch to the face. This angry build up continued through to her teen years. Getting into fights and heated arguments were the norm at her middle school, and God knows how many times her parents had to persuade the school to keep her in. She wasn't going to take anymore ridicule from these people, and so her reputation as a seemingly insane delinquent rose. That was, until she found a way to actually calm herself. Art. The stroke of the brush, the grating of the pencil against a canvas; Aya completely fell in love with it. She could express herself in ways she wasn't able to before, and for the first time Aya felt at peace. It wasn't like the blank sheet of paper was going to judge her thoughts anyway, so why stress out trying to get her feelings out there? The girl would spend the rest of her time painting and drawing, and eventually, a newfound love for spray paints had blossomed. All those ugly greens and reds she had seen… She could finally let her true emotions show through her own paintings. And so, time passed and Aya found herself living a normal life in a generic apartment somewhere in Ginmura. Before becoming a hero she decided to sell her artwork online, hoping it would earn her some money to pay these pesky bills. Sure enough, it did. Balancing her life as a hero trying to defend a city and as a simple artist spraying paint on a piece of card for money wasn't going to be easy, but she still intends to gain some recognition in the art industry.
