Landeel was as quiet as everyone else on the journey, he honestly regretted Ruinil and Bartuc's death, he never wished death upon them but the unfortunate event had still come to pass. He shifted from time to time, putting a hand over where the wound from Bartuc's knife had been. He'd had to patch his wounds himself but still managed to keep them hidden well enough from the rest of the party during the journey. Once they had reached the city he wandered off while Evelyn held her audience with the king, heading off to find and inn or a tavern or anywhere he could sit down for a little while.
Marco had barely known the deceased knights, but he mourned them all the same. At the city he waited outside the throne room while Evelyn spoke with the king, having no desire to deal with court especially with the subject of the meeting, and intercepted her as she exited. He spoke in a hushed tone "Evelyn, I need to speak with you later, when you have time" the tone of the last few words was meant to imply a bit of importance. After saying this he walked away, not waiting for a response, intent on stopping by the quarters provided to them for a short rest.
