[@Blue Demon] Robotics: Yes! AI: Yes! Smart AI: No. Basically robotics technology has increased as cybernetic augmentation has. Robots have become much more common place than they are now and are used in a lot more common place. Drones and security bots are used by Corps and the few remaining military. Androids exist in more retail and some more wet work operations able to look and fake being human. But that's about it. They aren't like replicates from Bladerunner or even the androids in Dragonball. Robots have not developed emotions yet or true independent thinking. They can learn and respond to stimulus but this is all through programming. Robots and AI can fake human emotion, by reading social ques around them and responded accordingly because if a face looks sad their programming will tell them an appropriate response to be either sympathetic or sad as well, et cetra. And depending on how much money is put into said robot they can look human and maybe even sound human, but it doesn't change the fact that they are still machines. No scientists has been able to cross that gap yet where robots can actually independently feel emotions, love or have dreams. They are still slaves to their programs as organics are slaves to their emotions. And actually part of the story goes more in depth about these ideas. [@Didgeridont] We already went over everything in the PM. So without further delay Accepted! To everybody. Currently my soft cap is set at eight players besides myself (eight is generally the number for large groups that I'm most comfortable with running.) Honestly I did'nt think I was going to even hit that number but apparently this thing is sparking interest like hotcakes. . I may be convinced otherwise but at the moment that is where the cut off is going to be. Just so that all you that have not submitted a CS know. That being said from this point forward, I will not be accepting CSs as they come in because I don't want people to rush to get character sheets to me. Instead all applications must be on here by 12:00 AM EST Sunday Morning. And on that day Sunday I will look over what I received, accept the remaining members of the team and post the first IC post. That gives everybody the rest of today and Saturday to finish work on their applications.
