[@Fallenreaper] Like they say in golf, "Play Through". You can't always get out of a tight spot, but you can make the best of it. Even if Trixi is down you can still gain experience and build up characterization by not giving up. Hardly anyone starts off with a win in competitive fight writing. But really, no more O.O.C talk. Stick through to the end and don't worry, just flow with the characters and enjoy the story.
[@Fallenreaper] Doc makes some good points. As he said, there is little for you to lose here. Even if you make a mistake, what's the worst that could happen? We're not going to get super pissed at you if you screw up a move or whatever. There's nothing to be afraid of. The other thing is, you seem to be sure that you're going to lose. This is not necessarily true: I did win my first competitive fight, and there's nothing to stop you from pulling off a similar victory. If you can't, no big deal. If you do, it's something to brag about :P so why not try?
