Is there some bad blood between AtomicNut and Vocab i'm missing out on?

Because it feels like i've wandered into the last episode of a mexican soap opera and somebody's trying to jump off a cliff because she'll never be with the handsome actor who's really her brother and i've completely lost the plot.
