Neva ducked under the counter and called out "Neva! It's Neva!" she curled up into a fetal position and held her ears, trying to protect her person as much as she could. "The Guardian hunts down people who aren't Human. I like to think of her as an interspecies bigot." She snickered at her own joke, and tucked her head downward between her upper chest and legs.
