Talli shook her head. "I already ate, I am pretty full, thank you though." She was pretty sure he had gestured for her to eat something but sometimes he was hard to understand. He used more body language then words and it was hard to read him at times, but Talli did her best and she seemed right most of the time. She liked being around Cyren, he was easy for her to be around for some reason. She didn't want to upset him by misunderstanding him too often.

Rook watched the female walk ahead of him for a moment before she spoke. He looked at her confused. "Did I ever say I hated the pridelanders?" He asked positive he had not. "Sure I am not particularly fond of how they hoard all the food and good land for themselves but that is just because nobody has challenged them for territory, well, not seriously challenged them. I joined Kikatili's pride because it was in need of members. And there were no males to challenge me. If I had gone to attempt to join the pridelanders I would have been challenged by every male there, all of them thinking I was trying to take the King's place. Which I am not, I don't want that responsibility. I am perfectly happy just making sure my pride is safe to the best of my ability. I don't want the ruler responsibilities. So I guess I joined because I saw a pride that was in need of some help and I was tired of wondering, like I had done my whole life." He trotted up next to her. "Why did you join and why do you hate the Pridlanders, you have a brother in that pride don't you?"
