I've been thinking about this for hours now and I still think I've got it figured the same way I thought of when I first read it.
DO I even grammar. I can't tell if that previous sentence makes any sense. 
Apologies for weird "speech" patterns my mind was blown recently.

So it's like a crypt in that it's a bunch of starving people lying around sleeping and waking up to fight every so often?

Edit: It's 2-4 when the time really drags on. :P
