John

After finishing his meal, John payed his bill and tip. With that done, he left the diner to go on a little walk to gather his thoughts. ''What strange luck; coming across someone else like me who knew about me. Not only that, but she was kind enough to shed some light of the purpose of this card he looked at the card in his hands 'not much point in debating it; I really do need to go after all. Hopefully I'll be able to get some answers about this.' His mind made up, John decided to walk around town a little more to kill some time.

---

Some time later, John found himself at the designated building, having walked there himself "well...this is the place." Making his way to the front door, he saw a group of people standing outside, and an elderly man on the other side of the door. "Parden me sir" he addressed the older man "I was invited here by a-" he quickly checked the card "Matthew Duroe I believe. By any chance, is this where he lives." It was right around there when he noticed a familiar face in the small crowd; Claire 'how strange...I almost didn't recognize her out of uniform. Although I suppose this means that I have the right location.'

Liam&Matt

Liam's eyes widened slightly as the woman began prodding him with her finger, feeling a burning sensation that bore a hole in his shirt and began to set aflame his flesh. As he began to regain his composure and narrow his gaze, the tremendous blow to his person sent the man reeling backwards with a resounding slam as he made impact with the wall. With a audible yelp, he'd slump over slightly; eyes rolling backwards as his form began to waiver. It was then that the subtle breeze grew in strength, seeming to suck the air in the room towards the staggered man. With a loud crackling and tearing of fabric, tufts of black fur began sprouting over Liam as his body contorted with audible results. In an instant, the once blonde male of average height and size stood tower, ebon fur coating his better developed and towering form. With his amber eyes gleaming forward; now awake with a startling calm presence, his canine muzzle sporting a knowning smile. To those who were familiar, this was almost a spitting image of the League champion Nasus, though his tattered shirt and singed pants were a constant reminder of that the being before them was indeed Liam.

As the dust began to clear (or more accurately, orbit around Liam) Matt breathed a sigh of annoyance, though he spoke with a subtle excitement that betrayed him, "Well, at least now we know. Didn't expect you to go full tilt, Nasus."

Liam shrugged his shoulders, debris of the drywall slipping off his shoulders to the floor below, "I did what you asked," His voice seemed to echo in a harmonic mixture of Liam's voice, and the signature voice of the champion he represented. As he continue to speak, his vision settled softly on Sam, "When I said I've dealt with people like you before, I was mentioning myself. Though our paths are stark contrasts now, I once lived my life as you now live yours." Bowing his head slightly in respect he went on once more, "I respect your point of view. Know my words were only meant to drive you to anger to test your abilities." With that he glanced over to Matt once more, who shrugged at the gesture.

"Your powers let you take it better then I can. Only thing I could do was blink around, but I'm sure that would only upset her more." Nodding at his own remark, Matt took out a single hand that was clasping his phone, "Got to think of what to tell Roger now... Sure neighbors are going to complain." Turning his back on the group, Matt made his way further into the apartment.

Liam snarled slightly as he clutched his chest, his fur showing no sign of damage despite the man's actions. Chuckling softly to himself, he'd eye over Sam, "I'll be feeling that tomorrow." No sooner did his words leave his lips did his form begin to revert, the black hair seeming to be absorbed into his flesh as his feature returned to normal. In a matter of moments, the normal visage of Liam stood before him, massaging a gnarly bruise that began to reveal itself upon his chest.

"Oh, certainly! That gentleman in front of the elevator is here to see him as well. My, I wasn't aware Matt was this popular. The boy mostly keeps to himse-" A subtle rumbling could be heard from the ceiling above, causint the man to take pause as his gaze ventured upwards. Mere seconds later, a phone could be heard ringing towards the back part of the room behind a door. With a heavy sigh, he shook his head, "My word, another day another problem... Top floor, first door on your right. Just mind yourself." And with that, he made his way from behind the counter to the door behind him as he disappeared into his office.

Raze Colter

Just as the elevator arrived, Raze felt a rumble shake through the building. It seemed at first to be an earthquake, but the shaking was accompanied by a loud explosion from above. Even the receptionist looked up in acknowledgement of the blast.

Is some bastard using their powers in here?

Raze rushed into the elevator, shoving his finger into a square button labeled “10.” Some of the others from the group joined him in the elevator, likely concerned with the ruckus as well. As the doors slid shut, awkward elevator music began to play. The tension grew more and more palpable as the elevator made its slow ascent to the top floor. Who the hell still plays music in elevators any more.

A cheery ding signaled their arrival. Raze slid through the doors as they were still opening, rushing down the hall as quickly as he could. His dark charcoal suit restricted his movement to a quick jog. Clean white walls and doors extended before him, sparsely decorated with generic paintings of flower arrangements. The carpet, a dreary blue color tinged with grey, gently cushioned his feet.

Third door on the right...here we go.

Without missing a beat, Raze summoned his wicked spear in a flurry of pale-green flames, still running. With both arms, Raze swung the glaive under-handed like a battering ram. The ivory door splintered into a storm of a thousand wooden razors, Raze exploding through them.

Raze halted to a slight crouch, breathing heavily. He held his spear one-handed behind him, ready to strike. The scene in the apartment was an odd mixture of order and chaos: two men and two women stood amongst what used to be an immaculately decorated apartment, now littered with the rubble of a destroyed wall and furniture strewn about.

One of the women, black-haired and bearing glasses, stood calmly off to the side. One man stood on the other side of the apartment near the kitchen, his hair black like Raze’s and the air around him shimmering like a mirage. The other man was the blonde that Raze recognized, he was the one passing out the business cards. His clothes were tattered and in shambles, the remaining threads just barely covering him. He looked like hell.

The last individual was quite a sight to behold. It was apparently a woman, her skin dulled to a stony grey, and covered with ruby-red scales along her legs, upper torso, and forearms. Adding onto her intimidating visage were a pair of demonic horns sweeping back from her head, and worst of all were her eyes. This woman’s eyes burned with the intensity of a volcano. From her hands and wrists, flames blazed and crackled.

Shyvana. She has Shyvana’s powers.

Raze darted his eyes from the blonde man with the torn clothes, then quickly back to the Shyvana-woman.

She attacked him. Stop her. Another voice invaded Raze’s mind. It urged him, it commanded him, FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT! FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE!

Raze ran forward and leapt into the air, intent on striking at the Shyvana with a right back-handed swing with his spear. He aimed for her torso, intending to swipe her away from the other three.

He released a vicious battle cry in mid-air, unaware that his skull burst forth from his skin, wreathed in nether-fire. It was Hecarim’s turn to take the reins.

@Leolycan@Kiroue @TheWinchester4 @Leolycan(and anyone else who around)

Clarice also noticed a few presences as they neared the door. She was quite surprised at the number of people who showed up here. All if all of them had powers and they were simply a portion of all the people with power… this could turn tricky. She also wondered if this happened only yesterday or there were people with power even before that.

At the invite, Clarice quickly entered the building with a smile.” Thank you, sir.” She said gratitude in her voice. As the rumbling started to be heard from somewhere of the upper floors, Clarice threw a quick glance up. This was… clearly something beyond normal humans. Did a person with power attack another one… or this was something else?

As one of the people who she didn’t know called the elevator and rushed it up, she was one of those who followed him into it. Tapping her finger in the rhythm, she patiently waited as they quickly rose up the floors until they reached the place they needed.

As the curious person who pulled out a big spear forcibly opened the door, Clarice sighed. Judging by the shape of the spear it was Hecarim. Another troublesome one appeared it seemed. The people inside the apartment they just ‘opened’ were equally curious. ‘Ohh is that Shyvana? Nice~ I like her style!’ Clarice thought before the spearman next to her jumped clearly to attack the woman. His transformation seemed to take place as his skull was the only thing he had for a head along with those infernal flames.

In a moment of reflex, she jumped after him. Her armor flaring into existence as focused for a mere moment. Using her already trained body and skills in conjuncture with the powers of Garen, she quickly reached and grabbed the spearman’s leg before he has the chance to finish his swing and pulled him back to interrupt him from hitting the other woman.” For goodness sake… don’t escalate things anymore you bonehead. Whatever happened was resolved already~ Now calm down and return to normal before someone comes to check what’s going one because you bloody blasted the door open!” She shouted in anger.

Raze Colter

Just a moment before Raze could complete his swing, something grabbed his leg in mid-jump. He still attempted to hit the Shyvana, but he barely came up short, the spear’s tip passing just an inch from her exposed stomach.

Raze landed with a thump on the ground, his ankle still restrained by his unknown assailant. He flipped over wildly to identify who stopped him, sneering and hissing malevolently.

It was the women he was ogling from before. Now though, she was covered in the bulk of Garen’s armor. Light reflected luxuriously off of the polished silver and blue metals, nearly blinding to the eyes.

”For goodness sake… don’t escalate things anymore you bonehead. Whatever happened was resolved already~ Now calm down and return to normal before someone comes to check what’s going one because you bloody blasted the door open!”

She's right...that was reckless of me.

As Raze slowly began to pick himself back up, he felt a presence enter his mind. Rather, he felt another conscience shove its way into his mind, and force him out. The being spoke to him, cackling:

Yes, this one knows how to fight! I like it!

In an instant, Raze felt himself lose control of his own body. He was now a backseat passenger to himself.

Without any warning, Raze growled and grabbed his spear with one arm and thwacked the armored woman, knocking her off of him.

STOP!

"Oh, it's you again. Nice to see you made it." Claire greeted John. Before she could say anything else further, the house shook. Claire looked up at the ceiling. It came from up above.

They piled into the elevator, all six of them, the tension in the air as thick as cream cheese. Speaking of the air, it felt hotter as they reached the floor they were looking for. Then, an ethereal spear appeared in one of the other guests' hands and he charged forth as soon as the doors opened. The man ran towards one of the figures in the room. Claire gasped, was that Sam!? The spearman rushed towards her and Claire found herself reaching her hand outwards to stop him, but it seemed as though she were moving in slow motion and wasn't able to even touch him before leaping at Sam. Clairce, who had donned her armor rather quickly, pulled the guy back first right before he could swing at Sam.

Though, a moment passed and he seemed to twitch before suddenly attacking Clarice!

"STOP! Stop it!" Claire yelled in horror after rushing forward from the elevator. Acting quickly, she summoned a ball of ice and flung it towards Raze! For good measure, "Claire-nivia" let loose the inner cryophoenix within her and allowed her wings to unfurl, ready for another spell cast to support Clarice and Sam.

Moritz was also at the bottom floor, returning from his business class to relax in his apartment and work on homework when he heard the crashing of sound from the top floor. What the hell? He quickly looked around, seeing how everyone else was reacting to the situation. Seeing multiple people rush to the elevator he did the same, cramming himself into the enclosed space. Moritz adjusted himself, attempting to push his backpack against the wall, with the backpack seeming to squirm slightly. Stay in there you damned thing, he thought desperately, a drop of sweat passing its way down his temple as he counted the floors up.

Ten. Right at the moment when the door opened Moritz saw a ghostly green spear appear as the wielder exploded out of the door into the foyer. That wasn't the only thing that grabbed his attention. One of them was the woman covered in... fire! Barely having time to process this shocking abnormality, the spear-man leaped at the woman. He was quickly caught, to the relief of Moritz, only to hit the knight that had quickly sprung to subdue him. What have I gotten myself into?!

Thinking fast, Moritz moved over to the man whose skull was now flaming an eerie green and gripped him on the shoulder. Feeling a wave of energy course through his veins he locked eyes with the being, his gaze unwavering as a flow of magic passes between them. Soon, Moritz and his captive were completely immobilized.

His body relaxed slightly as he maintained the trance continued, but a seemingly new bond was created. Deep in the back of his mind a deep voice echoed into Moritz' mind as well as the man he was attached to. The voice of the Void spoke through him into the vessel of Hecarim as a ball of ice neared them both.

"We meet again, Hecarim."

Garrett Fisher

It appeared as if he had a peeper.

Garrett turned around, deadpanned as he noticed that the lady from before had caught sight of his exchange with one of his living shadows. He didn't notice that the kitchen was so close to her booth... He had certainly made a deadly mistake. His mind raced, his citrus-colored eyes seemingly looking straight through Vicki as she asked him the question. Why did he have to be so careless? He wasn't planning on revealing his powers to the rest of them so soon... He had messed up the entirety of his plans.

He swaggered towards the lady, shrugging as he heaved a loud sigh. "You know," Garrett began, his voice lower and deeper than it usually was. "It's rude to be spying on people. I'm going to have to kill you now."

Luckily, there wasn't anyone in the diner; the rush had ended and he could do as he wished. Within a few moments, the young man's body became cloaked in shadow, a mask forming over his features as armor began to cover his body. Blades protruded from the gauntlets that had appeared on his forearms as red eyes gleamed at Vicki from behind the mask.

"Any last words?" the voice that spoke was not Garrett's, but a deeper, more intimidating voice that echoed through the room.

@TheWinchester4

Aelia Stark

The six of them went into the elevator, knowing what apartment belonged to the two strange men due to the kind receptionist in the front desk. Honestly, Aelia didn't know what to expect. She had seen most of these people from the local cafe, but now there were three new ones that she hadn't seen before. The brunette simply remained quiet, fidgeting quietly as the elevator took them to the floor.

"H-hey," the timid man beside her commented, appearing to be as nervous as she was. "Is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?"

Aelia glanced at the green-eyed man. That was true; it was getting hotter. By the time that they had reached their destination, it was sweltering. The strange man with the longer hair had suddenly taken his halberd and swung it towards the room that they were supposed to go to, making the ivory door crumble into splinters. She gaped, eyes wide as she rushed towards the room, noticing that a battle was occurring within it.

"What the hell?" she yelled, throwing off the coat that was around her shoulders. Aelia, honestly, didn't know what to do in the situation. She didn't want to hurt anyone, but almost everyone was tossing out some sort of spell. She couldn't even charm anyone; there were too many people there!

Raze Colter

Raze was transfixed upon the new man’s eyes. Originally a putrid green color, they were now shimmering with shades of violet and purple. Despite his resistance, Raze, or rather Hecarim, could not bring himself to look away from them, nor do anything else.

We meet again, Hecarim.

It seemed that Raze’s mind was becoming the new hotspot for disembodied voices. Another unfamiliar voice rang, the statement both a greeting and a challenge. Fury and fire rose up in Raze’s chest. He could hear Hecarim grumbling before issuing a response.

Malzahar...you dwell inside a pitiful mortal as well. That will not stop me from crushing your skull with my hands!

Just as Hecarim finished his reply, Raze was hit in the head by what felt like a rock. His brain was pounding, and the left side of his temple was screaming in pain. Through the slit of his eyelids, Raze saw splinters of glittering ice shards flying past him. The blue-haired girl had turned her sights on him as well.

It was no use though, the blow had actually helped him. The force of the blow caused him to break eye contact with Malzahar’s host, freeing Raze to move and act upon his will. He swung a clenched fist at Malz-guy’s face, attempting to knock him out. Mid-strike, a plume of green flames danced across his hand, his wrist, and then up his whole arm to his shoulder. After a moment, the flames subsided, revealing that his arm was now encased in terrifying, sharp angles jutting out in segments.

Whether or not his armored gauntlet would hit his target, Raze stood up to examine the situation. Now, there were many that actively opposed him: the Gareness, the blue-haired Cryophoenix, Malz-guy, the Shyvana likely wasn’t a friend, and now a nine-tailed girl stood in the doorway. If he fought, Raze couldn’t hope to win.

Hecarim on the other hand relished to challenge. Just as he crouched lower to pounce at Malz-guy, Raze wrested control of his mind from Hecarim. This is MY body!

Raze dropped the spear to the ground, covering his scalp with hands. He fell to his knees, still clutching his head. After about five seconds, the spear subsided into a cloud of black smoke, and Raze’s real head emerged from the skull-flames. Lastly, the armor that was protecting his arm crumbled into thick chunks of ash.

Carefully, Raze slid his hands down his scalp and across his face until the tips of his fingers were just below his eyes. Raze looked all around at those surrounding him, saying nothing.

@Adalrod((And everyone else in the room.))

Vicki Victory

Fear gripped Vicki as the man she was just conversing with transformed before her eyes into some demonic ninja. As he walked closer and closer, becoming less and less like the Garrett she was getting to know, Vicki inched further back into her seat, closer to the windowed wall. ”Any last words?”

Vicki hesitated a moment, unsure of how to respond, or what to do. In a split second, she thought of her father, she thought of her training. She was reminded of her father’s old family saying: “Victory for the Victorys!”

The terror immediately left Vicki, empowered by her positive thoughts and peerless confidence. Acting completely upon instinct, and perhaps influenced by some otherworldly force, Vicki shoved the table to the floor, standing up on her left leg, while the right leg crouched its knee on the red, cushioned bench. Vicki slammed her knuckles together, her preparation ritual before any fight, and a white light blazed forth from between them. The light split in two and flowed along from the knuckles and up each of her arms. Behind the lights, heavy machinery, plated metal, and steam gauges materialized. The lights converged together from the arms at the base of her back. A metal pack was left behind as the lights faded off into nothingness. Connected to the metal pack was a giant, mechanical gauntlet on each of Vicki’s arms. Straight out of League of Legends itself, these were Vi’s immense hextech gauntlets.

Vicki maneuvered the gloves in front of her, taking on a boxing stance. This...This was the feeling that Vicki lived for. The coursing adrenaline in her blood, the clanking metal of her new armaments, the weight and heft of the gauntlets, the rush of imminent competition. This was how the modern warrior did battle: boxing. The stench of sweat and musk filled her nostrils, but all Vicki could focus on was defeating her opponent.

Vicki glowered straight into the red slits that were now Garrett’s eyes, boldly stating, ”I promise you, these will not be my last words.”

Garrett Fisher

A bright light illuminated the booth and the woman emerged from it with oversized gauntlets. Garrett sighed-- he figured that she had some sort of punching champion's powers when she told him that she almost killed someone with one strike. Well, that sucked... He wasn't planning on having some sort of deathmatch with the lady.

"You're making this unnecessarily difficult," Garrett growled, narrowing his eyes down at the girl before him. "Just accept your fate!"

The man raised his arm, the blade that protruded from his forearm lashing out towards Vicki's neck. As he attempted to strike Vicki, he wondered why he had decided to kill her here. The next shift would have to go and scrub the tiles and cushions really well...

We meet again, Hecarim.

The voice that resonated through his head surprised Moritz. It echoed several times, reflecting off every corner of his mind, an enticing echo after the initial response. He had never heard it before, and today was weird enough with all of these sudden and new powers that came to him. The fact that the voice spoke was almost enough to break his concentration, but the response of the second voice completely caught him off guard.

Malzahar...you dwell inside a pitiful mortal as well. That will not stop me from crushing your skull with my hands!

Malzahar? Was that the voice that he was hearing, or did the voices just recognize the power? Doubt crept into his mind, each thought having a contradiction the second it occurred. Each idea was swallowed as if he had spoken underwater, completely engulfed by the endless echoes of the rebuttals and the initial voice in his head. It was maddening. The reverberations just didn't stop, each one seeming to double with each repetition until it filled his while being with horrid voice.

THWACK

The voices in Moritz' head went quiet as a sphere of ice smacked against the head of the man across from him. His originally composed body was shaking like a leaf, and his limbs felt like they were trapped in sludge. He then became aware that the movement in his backpack was desperate and frantic, and behind him he could hear fabric tearing. As Moritz tried to step back he saw the man clench his fist and throw a punch that evolved into an abomination of a gauntlet midway.

"SKREEE!"

The Voidling sliced through the backpack with a triumphant cheer before reacting instantly, digging it's needled legs into Moritz's shoulder before it jumped in front of the disfigured metal. A loud crack was heard as the exoskeleton of the Voidling shattered, sending the Void-spawn flying against the wall in a crumpled heap.

Moritz's legs could finally move, and he took that moment to disengage himself and get away from the gauntleted figure. He thought of just what that gauntlet would do to him, not breaking eye contact from the hand of his adversary. Then, the glove dissipated and Moritz relaxed, his body and voice still shaking from the enormity of what just took place.

"... truce?"

Vicki Victory

Garrett swiped at Vicki with a pair a deadly blades fixed to his forearm bracers, the exotic weapons headed straight for her neck. Vicki easily parried the blow with her already prepared fists, using the back of her right hand to swipe Garrett’s arm off to the side. She immediately followed it up by leaping at Garrett with the heft of her left fist. Purely acting on instinct, a pair of jet boosters on her metal backpack and a booster built into the hextech gauntlet activated, sending Vicki rocketing forward, the metal fist blasting straight at Garrett’s upper torso.

Whether she hit him or not, Vicki continued forward through the air, before tumbling to the ground into a smooth roll, ending the roll by propping herself on one knee and facing back toward Garrett, her gloves up and ready for any retaliation. Vicki was breathing heavily, the adrenaline from an actual life-or-death situation causing her body to tremble slightly.

Raze Colter

As slowly and non-threateningly as possible, Raze rose from his kneeling position, holding his arms above his head. For a few moments, Raze processed in his mind what the best thing to say might be.

”I'm...sorry for the trouble. That wasn't me,” Raze stammered out.

He was truly afraid of what might happen next. Would they still try to fight him? Kill him? To Raze, the worst thing that could happen in this situation is if he was forever shunned and rejected by them, because of his great recklessness. And for losing control to another presence.

Sam Cross

A breathless silence flowed into the room. Samantha's glower turned to a challenging look as Liam sprouted tufts of fur from his body and his nose and mouth elongated into a muzzle. The man began to rise, once towering her before the transformation, now proving to dwarf her. A smile oddly came to don his face as dust orbited him. Throughout the change, there was a tone that this power he held was one that was ancient and wise, though deadly. This starkly contrasted the half-dragon, who's air held one of fiery ferocity. In this moment it was as if two titans were poised for collision, at least it did to her, and she was ready.

The woman was on the edge of pulling back on some control, like loosening a leash on the fire she was managing to tame, when Liam spoke, his voice holding one of a respectful visage that washed over her like an old, stale breeze. He explained that he, himself, was the one that he had been referring to all this time, and that, in fact, he truly respected and understood her point of view! All that he had said had been to rouse her. She stood still, for a long time as the two bantered on, confused. Here she was: muscles tightened, heart racing, and eyes painting her vision red. She was so ready for the attack and yet now it was made aware to her that the two were in fact of a like mind? Sam had understood that the exercise had been done for the sake of bringing about her anger, but she had been totally convinced that this asshat had meant everything he said. The woman stood there utterly dumbfounded and not sure quite what to do. She wasn't sure whether to laugh at the hilarity of it all, to cry from relief, or to rage at deception. It was like all of these emotions were left to swirl around in her belly, a belly that all of a sudden found itself an inch away from a blade!

All at once the world that had once been still from her raced at a staccato pace. Her scaled arms flinched to protect her stomach. They had been too slow. If it wasn't for the mystery blade missing its mark, she would have been done for. With her guard having been down, there had been no chance of her taking the blade favorably.

Adrenaline pumped through her veins from the near death experience, like narrowly missing being run over from a car. Her burning gaze finally locked onto what was going on. The room had suddenly crowded with a great load of people, two of which were now at her feet. There was one with a ghostly green fire about him, resembling Hecarim, and on top of him was a woman with brilliant bright armor, resembling Garen. This woman was the one who had saved her! It was odd, this moment, because it was as if she instantly felt allied to this warrior. They were on the same side. An unexplained amount of patriotism rose inside her and finally Sam identified this bond. Demacia. Just as the woman made this connection she was shocked to find her protector to be attacked, flying off of the man.

Her reaction was of swift, uncontrolled rekindled rage. Unknowingly she let out a blood curdling roar, her body quickly reigniting as if it had been brought back to life with a gallons of gasoline. Before she could react, however, a man rushed forward, putting a hand on the demon's shoulder, a gripping, purple energy flowing between them. Sam rushed to take advantage of the immobility, rushing forward, burning chairs and tables in her path. She primed her arm to hit, only to find herself suddenly knocked away, hit with a ball of ice. What the hell? The woman looked down to see for a split second herself coated with an icy frost before it floated away into steam. The ice should have broken a bone, but with the fiery rage that she now held, the heat having risen to a dangerous height, she only gasped to suck in more air, it having been forced out of her lungs.

Sam forced herself to a stand, but found that Hecarim had forced himself to a fall, slowly reverting himself to his regular form. He had stopped. The woman looked at herself and found her whole body engulfed in flame again. She closed her eyes to try and will it to reduce, but it was harder than the last time. She made her head fall into her hands, hoping to focus. She desperately worked to calm her breathing and think of a happy place or something to calm her anger and form. It wasn't working and the more she tried, the more exhausted she became. Sam kept on, but with each try a new emotion began to mount: panic. It only worked to fan the flames even more. "Fuck..." she cursed under her breath. Sam frantically looked around at the people of the room. The fire of her body seemed to fluctuate madly. She continued to curse. Every moment she struggled to resist, it decayed briefly before it raced back to life, again, as her will became more and more exhausted. The half-dragon worked out a cry for help. "Someone, please! I'm trying, but I can't!"

'I bloody knew it... he was a problem after all.' Clarice thought as she was flung aside. She on purpose didn't bring out her sword when she attacked the Hecarim guy, she didn't really want to injure him much, despite her instincts calling to cut him in two. Still the fact that Claire and someone else interfered and stopped him, was good. She gave a slight note of surprise as the man began to come back to his senses, talking about how that wasn't him.” It's more than just powers that we got...” She said as she took a deep breath. Traits and even it seems personalities from the champions were also present in some people. In her case she didn't exactly feel like loosing herself to Garen, but she did feel instincts and thoughts that weren't hers.” We will need to be careful from now on... it's possible that all of us may lose it at a some point or another.”

Clarice's eyes flinched for a moment as she noticed what was going on with the woman she saved from being hit. She was losing control of her powers! The fire was starting to burn stronger and stronger. This gathering was a bad idea to be held here! If this went out of control the entire building could be in danger, not to mention all the people inside.

With a single jump, Clarice found herself right by the burning girl. The heat was almost unbearable, but for some reason she didn't even flinch. That was probably part of Garen... Not to mention her armor was protecting her from the bulk of the fire.” I'm sorry, but this is going to hurt...” She said, before her energy gathered in her hand. She didn't want to really injure the Shyvanna girl, she liked her... a lot! She felt her as a comrade, a companion to march side by side... another Garen thing it seemed. Anyhow... this worked in the game so it should work here too. The Decisive Strike should silence it's target. This flame was an ability so it should stop it in it's tracks! As her energy surged through her fist, she hit the stomach of the covered in flames girl.” Claire, if this doesn't work, freeze us both!” Clarice called.

Garrett Fisher

Crap. Garrett winced as his fatal blow slammed straight into the giant gauntlets. The woman threw his dominant arm to the side, and his eyes went wide when he noticed that Vicki was charging up a powerful punch. He threw himself to the side, grunting loudly as the harsh movement literally sapped him of energy. This form was drawing on his energy, already... he would have to get used to it. He struggled to regain his balance, raising his blades once more.

"You're wasting my time," he growled dangerously, producing another shadow beside him. The shade took the same position as he did, its eyes smoldering as it stared at Vicki. With a silent command, the ethereal creature sprang towards her, brandishing blades as it attempted to impale her. "Just die already!"

Vicki Victory

Just a moment before the shadow clone could impale her, Vicki placed her gauntlets into x-formation, guarding her vulnerable flesh. The metal-on-metal impact resounded with a mighty clang, and Vicki was forced to lean back slightly from the recoil. Vicki pushed back the shadow clone with a forceful shove from both gauntlets, causing it to stagger backwards. In one smooth motion from the push, Vicki brought her left arm down low, priming the boosters.

The steel-plated fist rocketed into an explosive uppercut, landing square on the shadow clone's chin. The black figure went flying, and disappeared in a puff of black vapor upon hitting the ground.

Vicki resumed her boxing stance, bouncing from one foot to the other, her yellow gym shorts flapping from the motion. Just a few seconds ago, she was terrified for her life. Now, Vicki was absolutely enjoying this, even knowing that her life was on the line. She bared a grin at Garrett, taunting him,"Is that all you got, crouching tiger?"

Alex

Alex sighed, he'd thought it was a good idea, but when everyone had tried cramming in that elevator he'd just gotten a bad feeling and bailed. A few seconds later he was blading away for some food. He didn't know what he'd been thinking. Hanging out with Arthur was fine, but with all those people? Alex'd never been one much for people and to be frank it was usually the other way around as well. The cafe they'd been in earlier had been nice. He turned the corner whistling merrily and entered, only to find that in the otherwise deserted cafe, he could see a women with two mighty gauntlets who could only be Vi and a dark male with blades that belonged to Zed. A champion fight? Already? One of Alex's knifes sprung to his hand and he twirled it idly, "Now, now folks, hows about we all take a step back and talk out our differences like nice people hm?" It was impossible to know who started the fight and Alex wasn't going to take sides in a situation he knew nothing about.

Artemis

Artemis stepped back quickly until she was pressed against the wall furthest from the action. Too quickly. Things were happening much too quickly. Sam without a doubt the champion of Shyvana. What she hadn't anticipated was the flood of people that came afterwards. Things were out of hand. Moonlight appeared around her body and swirled around it in delicate orbs. But she said nothing, merely stood back and watched silently. If she'd this idea was bad before it was nothing compared to what she thought now. The hecarim fought briefly with nearly everyone in the room before giving up and Sam was slowly losing control. Frankly she was surprised Liam and Matt hadn't done something but that was really no concern of her. Every detail of what was occurring was noted down in her mind, to be reviewed at a later date. When the armored women sprung forward Artemis almost stopped her, but her plan did she sound, if nothing else Claire's freezing should work.

Moritz's attention snapped to the scale-covered woman surrounded in flames. Immediately after he realized just how close he was to said flames. "Shit!" Moritz exclaimed before running towards the wall, passing the armored woman running the opposite direction. He looked back, perplexed, but then saw the all-too-familiar blow that she was preparing. Garen. All of the pieces started to connect. The woman wrapped in flames was obviously Shyvana, and the ball of ice was probably Lissandra- Moritz made a quick glance at the elevator, seeing the vibrant icy wings - make that Anivia. And Hecarim- He looked back at the figure on the ground, then cursed under his breath. Running back towards his previous adversary and closer to the flames Moritz moved to pulled him away from the burning heat and towards the wall.

Liam&Matt

As Liam finished his exchange with the woman, a motley-crew of others stepped through the doorway unannounced and into the studio apartment. The blonde (now battered) male opened his mouth to speak, but before he could utter a word, a man shifted into a heavily armored state and charged at Sam. In a meer matter of moments, the man had been stopped by multiple "champions" and an ice wall was cast to wall the assailant near the hallway. Growling beneath his breath, Liam could feel his canine's growing in his mouth with a sickly shift in his gums and other teeth. However, it was when Sam spoke out, he paused, glancing over to her as his eyes softened slightly.

"Everyone, calm down!" Liam spoke out, his voice sound with a twinge of the power from before as he continue to try and suppress his urge to intercede. As the woman brought her fist around to strike and silence the immolated woman, Liam quickly held out his hand as a cloud of dust and sand began to slowly form around the heavily armored woman. The effects of this subtle storm would cause the woman to slow in her movements and strikes, hopefully allowing Sam the moments she needed to dodge out of the way. With that, he'd summon his staff and make his way to Sam's side (struck or not).

"Knock it off!" A stern and authoritative voice called out of the back of the room. Those looking could seen the form of Matt, stepping forward with his phone clutched in a hand to the side as another was poised in a fashion that appeared as if meant to snap his fingers. As silly as this gesture might have seemed, those who were paying attention could hear a subtle beeping around the doorway. Those who managed to work their way inside of the apartment could see a cluster of now flickering devices, previously hidden by the shadows of the low-lit. The beeping was steady, rhythmic, almost seeming like an electronic heartbeat. "Settle down. Now." The man spoke once more, his tone still retaining it's harsh nature, "She's a dragon, and the man is from the Shadow Isles. The nature of the champions can leak out in times like this. If you can't retain it, you lose." Matt spoke out, glancing over to Sam.

"Or so I just found out... Shy was a loose-cannon in- Well, the canon. We provoked her intentionally to expose her powers. Throwing combat upon her is not going to help. Notice she's not striking anyone? She's trying to calm down." At this point, Matt's gaze glanced between the armored woman and the one adorned with the markings of Diana, "You two would have the best chance of calming her down. You-" Looking towards Clarice, "I'm hoping you're from Demacia, and you," Now to Artemis, "Seem to be friendly with Sam. Appeal to both sides of her at once." His gaze locked onto the one who was adorned with Hecarim's armor, falling silent a moment before glancing over to Sam, his gaze softening slightly.

Raze Colter

Raze didn’t even need to be cautious any more, the focus of attention was pulled straight onto the Shyvana. Licks of flame were beginning to spout off her body, embers flying in every direction. The flames were creating a cloud of smoke, making it difficult to breathe. Raze doubled over in a coughing fit, his eyes starting to water from the heat and smoke clouding his eyes. Just then, he felt arms wrap around his abdomen and pull him away from the Shyvana, just as a blast of heat radiated off of her body.

He was put up against the wall, sitting down. Raze looked up to see his savior: it was the green-eyed man@Adalrod that held him in a trance from before. Through a rasping cough, Raze barely let out, “Thank you...“ An eery orb passed right by Raze's head, and he flinched back in instinct, scooting further from it. The glasses-wearing woman from before had three of these orbs circling around her, passing through the wall like nothing. Diana. @Eklispe

It was destruction all around in the once exquisite apartment. Terrified faces of fantastical people were strewn about the outskirts of the room, all watching to see what would happen. The blonde man's @Leolycan already shredded clothes were beginning to burn at some loose threads, his black-haired companion nowhere to be seen. Raze could make out a few figures still by the ravaged doorframe: the nine-tailed brunette @Ambra stood with two male companions @Universorum. Alongside them was the blue-haired girl@DFA with her wings unfurled, still sparkling through the smog and dust. All the way back at the elevator, a muscular man@Card Captor that Raze didn't recognize stood vigilant, seeming to just examine the events as they unfurled. The relaxed green-eyed brunette man@Ambra was nowhere to be seen, as far as Raze could tell. Chaos. It's just chaos, and we did this. I did this...

The Gareness@rivaan ran up to Shyvana@Kiroue, seemingly ignoring the intense heat. She yelled something back at someone in the crowd, and wound back her fist to strike. The clenched gauntlet began to glow a piercing white, casting lines of light through the ash and smoke.

From the corner of his eye, Raze saw the tattered blonde point at the Gareness. Dust swirled around her, and she began to move in slow motion. Zilean?

A voice barked from an unseen room, and the tattered blonde’s black-haired companion finally arrived. “Settle down. Now. She's a dragon, and the man is from the Shadow Isles. The nature of the champions can leak out in times like this. If you can't retain it, you lose.” A momentary pause, “Or so I just found out...Shy was a loose-cannon in...well, the canon. We provoked her intentionally to expose her powers. Throwing combat upon her is not going to help. Notice she's not striking anyone? She's trying to calm down. You two would have the best chance of calming her down. You, I'm hoping you're from Demacia, and you seem to be friendly with Sam. Appeal to both sides of her at once." With each command, he addressed a different person in the room, gathering the situation back to order.

Finally, he looked directly at Raze, the two of them staring unblinking for a few moments. The man looked away, focusing all attention on Shyvana, waiting to see what would happen. In a final blaze of balefire, Raze’s armor dissipated into the cloud of ash, leaving him adorned only with his charcoal suit.

This is not what I wanted...this is not what should have happened.
