Something just occurred to me which may make the Pater's escape to its lair a little less easy, though I still suspect the battle will end in the bowels of the earth so to speak, as all good monster confrontations should. 

Also, Electric vision doesn't work through solid rock, just so you know the limitation in regards to how effective it is.
