Roland took her hand but at the same time shook his head. Monsters, like wyvern, have earned his respect more often than any human ever did. He challenged them for that reason, that was why he searched a fair fight because it was clean. There aren't any ties attached, no bad blood, no ideology or history which could justify the fight. It was a simple hunt, a job! When the monsters overpopulated or started to attack settlements or farmers, it was their job, as hunters, to bring them down.
