Walking through the cargo hold was a humanoid creature that looked a bit like a purple skin colored pig, wearing a brown leather hood. This soul was Benero. Lots of preparing to, indeed indeed, but he had to be sure his brother was alright that was for sure. He had run off somewhere, perhaps to try and fix the holes dealt by the harpoons. Tilting his head, Benero lightly scratched his left claw against his temple in puzzlement. Just then, a very loud and disturbing noise made him jump in surprise, arms ups and claws flailing a bit as if to protect himself from being attacked. Pausing a bit, he looked about before staring at the box that seemed to have moved. Was it his imagination?
"What is wrong?" A voice called from a figure that looked exactly like him. Zenero.
Benero looked to his brother, raising his claws as he spoke. "The box moved!" he answered, pointing his right claw towards the box.
Zenero turned to look at the box before turned his masked head toward his brother. "Boxes do not move!" he said, snorting a bit at the silliness his brother was spouting.
"This one did!" Benero answered, a bit more irritably.
"You must have hit your head! We do not carry live cargo!" Zenero said, rolling his eyes.
"The Princess is live cargo!" Benero pointed out, waving his clawed hand accusingly toward his brother.
"Princess is a special case! Because a princess is special!" Zenero shot back with a huff.
Soon enough, the box moved again, making a large sound as if something was trying to claw its way out. Which made the two Demi-humans jump and promptly embrace one another in fright. As the box moved again and started to rattle harder the two jumped and flailed, looking around and backing away from the moving box. Looking to one another, then at the box, they pondered what to exactly do. Looking to one another again, the brothers slowly nodded.
"If a piece of the cargo is moving....." Benero started.
"Without us knowing...." Zenero continued.
The two brothers then quickly turned and bolted out and headed up the steps toward the Bridge. "Kaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrn!" they both screamed.
Meanwhile on the Bridge, Karn's feline ears perked suddenly as she heard a slight unsettling sounds compared to what a ship should have. Sound of the propellers and engines? All is good. Some chatter of crewmates, also good. The sound of thundering footsteps followed by shouts? Probably not so good. Soon enough, the two fellow Demi-Human bursted in, taking a moment to catch their breath before waving their arms in the air then pointing them back where they came from.
"Wow guys. I realize we kinda just almost got blown up, but didn't think it was the time for running around right after the bomb left. Now with you two in here, this place is starting to feel clawstraphobic." she joked, ears twitching curiously as her emerald eyes watched them.
"Living thing!" Benero started.
"In a box!" Zenero continued.
"In the cargo hold!" Benero finished.
The feline Demi-Human blinked for a moment before sighing and shrugging her shoulders. "Ya know, I accept a delivery of a crate of oglops one time and you guys freak out over things. They are just bugs. Not my fault you got curious and opened it." she said as she shook her head at the memory.
"No this different!" Zenero insisted as he flailed his arms over his head.
"Very! Bigger!" Benero agreed.
Karn rolled her shoulders then rubbed the back of her head with her right hand. "And you didn't open it? Well, I don't remember having any living cargo. But fine you babies I'll look at it. Might have another stowaway or a hide away soldier we missed. Blank, keep a eye on the Gemstone eh?" the blonde said to her crewmate before quickly heading out and made a beeline for the cargo hold. Weaving her way pass anyone she passed so she could get to her destination faster. Never know, could be some hidden surprise that was left for them. Opening the door, she headed inside before pausing as she saw a white haired woman. Emerald eyes narrowing, Karn looked her over before recognition came.
"Ohhhhhh. You're that girl back at the dock. Sweet sweet Wylde. Heh. What's this, couldn't resist my wild charms and decided to hitch a ride in that box of yours?" Karn joked with a slight grin as she shrugged before giving a slight shake of her head. "Awe sweetheart. So sad to see you're probably not so lucky to hitch a ride on this particular ship." she hummed. It was a bit of a surprise she was here for this long, that took some dedication and being somewhat comfortable in closed spaces and the cold. Course the rocky little escape probably didn't feel so good. Lucky the woman didn't get pierced by a harpoon.
"Now, if this was a normal situation, I'd probably have to do put you... under ship arrest. But, since you're not the only stowaway and you're a pretty face. I'll give you a free pass for now. If I get a kiss then things might not have to get.... catty." Karn joked with a amused smirk on her face. Holding out her hand then to the woman, tail waving ever so slyly.
"Should probably head up to the Boss. The ride is about to get a bit bumpier."
