I know this isn't my RP, but I've run a few with a good friend and we always made it a point to make sure the players who played vampires were well aware that it is a very crippling curse and that if not hidden well, they will be killed for being a disgusting abomination. Same thing goes for werewolf characters. It's why we only ever had one vampire character in our years long experience GMing both independently and together.
No, it is a fair point. I think it ties into the rule about trying to keep your player balanced. The complication you get with the Elder Scrolls is that there are different types of Vamparism, and there's a ton of law in general. That said, assuming that she's the kind of Vampire found in Oblivion or Skyrim (not including Lords) then certainly she's going to have to play quite the balancing act. Does she feed regularly to appear mortal and withstand sunlight, at the risk of being caught? Or does she starve herself, causing her to move onto a more severe stage of vampirism where she get's stronger but obviously more monstrous? It's one of the reasons I asked for more info about her affliction. Her scales are a dark green in colour, and her little feathery extensions on her head are long and coloured tan. She wears leather armour as her norm, minus the helmet cause she doesn't like the helmet. Her quiver sits on her waist on the right, full of arrows, and her bow is normally slung across her chest. The sheathes of her daggers lay slung on her belt, criss-crossed against the small of her back. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【Full Name】 Deejaza Mereetus 【Alias】 Jaza 【Race】 Argonian 【Gender】 Female 【Age】 33 【Sexuality】 Hetero 【Birth Place】 The Black Marsh 【Nation/Allegiance】 Independent 【Profession】 Hunter/Ranger -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【Personality】 Jaza is a quiet, soft spoken lady. Not very prim or proper, what she lacks in social skills she makes up for in her focus and determination. While on a job she rarely speaks unless necessary, deeming focus to be more important. However she is able to work in groups. More often than not she prefers to exercise what little social attributes she has making friends with her teammates. Jaza views this process as important, as it helps her build connections that she can later rely on for help. When conversing, she chooses her words carefully, so as not to irritate or offend anyone she speaks to. She often comes across as shy and awkward, though she knows it is not so. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【History】 Jaza is an archer. Most Argonians didn't normally go into that line of work but the field of Archery, marksmanship and hunting seemed to call out to her. Due to her exceptionally green scales, she found that she had less trouble hiding in vegetation than most other hunters, and owing to her practiced hand at archery, she soon became a very good hunter and marksman in the Black Marsh. Her village friends went to her if they needed an animal skinned or some fish or if a predator was stalking their livestock. Jaza was a curious one though, and soon took her bow, arrows and daggers out of the Marsh and into the wilds of Skyrim, selling her services as an expert marksman for coins to live by. Of course that soon led to a life of crime, as most people she was employed by had need of her bow in the ending of someone else's life. Soon her ways attracted the attention of some...conniving types. Schemers. Looking for a mercenary who was untraceable and independent. Sent by contract to Makarth, she lived there for several weeks, stalking a contact whom she was to get close to and kill. As the third month drew to a close, Jaza found herself bored. The target was friends with her but she had received no correspondence for the kill. And then, the nightmare. Could expand on the skills slightly, but tbf using the lvl system does give a fairly clear picture of the extent of her abilities. Once again, I'll let others have their say before accepting.
Just a note: Everyone that has either submitted a CS or spoken to me in PMs about a character has so far said their character is from or is currently in Skyrim. There's no issue with that, but I should make it clear that this RP isn't restricted to Skyrim. The Arc surrounding the war will for example be fought along the southern borders of Cyrodiil (at least to start with). The reason I mention Skyrim so often in the first OOC post is because of the importance of the events that transpired there given how recent it was. P.S. Sorry for my long-ass replies. I tend to rabble a lot :P
