I thought to myself that as it stands, there's enough shit going on, so I will assume you can all guess what happened next after Lyman replied to Willas, leads to that little moment by the throne itself. There's enough dead people in there to have blood up to your ankle, and it sets the scene nicer to get it to that in-medias res moment.
