That was literally a shot in the dark, and I was a bit drunk last night, so I just forgot all about that part! I'll go edit that, and also will detail further how it used its tail, since I had been pretty vague about that. Just for the record though, the rifle hadn't been fired directly at it. It only had "potential to graze his immobile form".
