Ryūko had slept well, dressing in her uniform and fixing her hair in the morning. Unlike most girls, she barely ever put on makeup. She donned a hoodie as well to guard against the morning chill. She put her headphones on outside, as a kind of impromptu earmuff. She hit the Shuffle button on her uPod. Coincidentally it began playing the song she's sung in the shower last night. She sang along quietly: "[i]Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste...[/i]" She thought she was singing too lowly to be heard, but she couldn't tell.
