Orion - 空で飛びている

Orion flinched at the sudden loud voice from above and felt the beast inside him respond to it with a menacing mental growl before returning to its slumber. Gawds above and below there was no right to do that after the veritable heart attack Orion had been through. He took a cautious glance at the source and found it to be none other than the lightning luchador! Well he wasn't lightning-y right now, but it was the same guy. What was he doing on top of a building? And what had he shouted, Ninos? That was kids, if his two years of Spanish was worth anything. He must be looking for someone "Hey mask guy, you came from earth too right?" Hopefully. Orion faintly remembered that guy also being in the room, but he wasn't sure. If nothing else having a muscle man to stand next to wouldn't be too bad of a deal.

Takeyoshi Sakujima- 道のそばで休みている

"Sure, sure," Takeyoshi responded, waving off Miyu's (rather obviously blatant) denial about being asleep. He couldn't fault her for it, to be fair; last night had been a complete mess, and he'd have very much liked to have slept as well. Of course, with things being the way they were...

"So, with that matter settled... I'm hoping that some local law enforcement or things of the sort have dealt with that ordeal. If so, we're probably free to go explore for the moment. I've got other plans in mind, though..."

Slapping his cheeks with both of his palms, Takeyoshi shook his head and stood up from where he was resting. The geta were really not easy to move around in, but... Well, he'd probably get used to them fast enough. No stumbling or unsteady walking this time. Good.

"Anyhow, I'm going to go look for a library or a shop or something; somewhere I can start gathering information from. You're welcome to tag along; in fact, I'd probably prefer if you did," he said, flashing a cheeky smile at Miyu before walking down the street.

Well, it wasn't as if they had any other options; the aftermath of the mess they were just in meant that returning to wherever it was that they started from could end in disaster, especially if one or two of the hellhounds were still lurking around somewhere.
...
To say nothing of if he remembered exactly where it was in the midst of the chaos was an entirely different story, though.

Dragon Rayo heard faint shouting after his yelling. He was uncertain where it had came from, but he was glad to know he got a response. Although, he was not thrilled he was called mask guy. The luchador eyed the rooftops then realized it wasn't from the same level. Rayo had finally looked down and saw the source!

"What does he mean from earth? Is this not earth?" He mumbled to himself. Rayo didn't make an immediate response; he couldn't talk to anyone straight off the bat. The one who called him out wasn't anyone he saw before; it is possible the individual came out of the same room, but it's difficult to tell since Rayo was not paying attention back then.

It was time to pay close attention to details. Rayo examined the guy from the rooftops the best he could; he was a red-haired teenager by the looks of it. One pecuilar thing was the teen had a dragon tail. The luchador was not sure whether to be impressed or concerned. This person could just be one of the civilians he threw on the rooftop.

"I am from earth, si! Cual es su nombre?" He yelled back at the red-hair.

Another beautiful day in Yazai! The streets are filled with creatures of all races, religions, shapes and sizes, with carts and mounts and occasionally some kind of tech-thingies that you are not familiar with as of yet. Everyone is running somewhere, everyone is looking for new opportunities on this wonderful morning, and you should join them, or else you’ll be forced to live on scraps your entire new life.

Oh, did I forget to mention? It has been three days since you arrived to this city (and this world, let’s not forget that!) and your stomach is sounding loud protests on the lack of input. However, you are broke, so your only choice is to find some kind of job.

Fortunately, your trusty buddy the pop-up window has your back!

The Exorcist

Three days, that's how long Sonia has been wandering the city, and for an exciting first day... well everything else had been a massive disappointment in terms of action. At the bright side she didn't die again, so that was a very big plus, but otherwise she was in the exact same position was before. With no clear goal she had basically become one of the homeless that live on the streets, managing to survive in whatever small ways she could find. It truly wasn't a great life.

Then finally on the third day something actually happened, a pop up. Quickly Sonia realized it was a list of quests, real jobs she could take. All of them looked basic for the most part, few maybe a little difficult, but the rewards listed didn't really appeal to her, all but the last one. Sonia's eyes widened when she read the reward, an apartment?! For free? By that point she was downright sick with sleeping outside so the prospect of getting some shelter for once was damn well tempting. That was it, her mind was made up. She had absolutely no idea how to handle ghosts, but hey she can't die so even if she were to fail it would only be a small set back... odd that's what death had become to her.

Now seeing as Sonia wasn't quite sure where the apartment was she had to ask for directions, most people simply ignored her, but eventually she did find someone actually willing to help. After that it wasn't long before she navigated her way towards Xixia district and right outside the targeted building. All she had to do was step in and maybe chase away some ghosts... or die... probably die.

Orion - 空で飛びている

Orion had been following the luchador around for the last couple days, slowly increasing his skill in Spanish and starving. He'd been about to consider robbing one off the countless food stalls when his quest window thingy popped up with several options. All of them involved fighting something unfortunately. The easiest one with the least amount of fighting looked like the ghost one. The ghost probably wasn't even real, just people getting freaked out but a broken gas pipe or something. "Yo buddy,"

Orion tugged lightly on the Rayo's shirt, seeing the Luchador had gotten the pop up as well, "Thinking about the ghosty one with the free apartment. You wanna go? I'm sure you can just punch the ghost or whatever and it'll go away." He was probably right. No one in their right mind would fight Mr. Muscles. Besides, having a safe place and comfortable to sleep would be nice. Orion was pretty sure that if he owned anything other than his clothes they would've been stolen by now. And he was pretty sure he was missing his scarf as it was. And one of his scales. Most disturbing. He roughly knew where the Xixia district was, they could get to it pretty quickly from here, especially if they mentioned ghosts and asked for directions.

All roads of Langua lead to Verzales- this is a common saying in the country, but when you turn this around, it means from Verzales you can directly reach any part of the Draconic Kingdom. Every day coaches to the various provinces leave the capital, able to reach the borders of the kingdom in a week. Of course that is for those who can pay while poor fellas like you will have to hitch a ride or make do some other way.

Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like you have to go far on your first journey outside of Verzales. The Quest window shows you Quests which are all located in Yar-agna, the region surrounding the capital. The area is known to be relatively safe due to the constant patrol of the guards and numerous extermination missions in Adventurer Guild have made sure that any newbies like yourself will not have too much of a hard time:

Pragmatism Ho!

Velte nodded and committed all the information to memory, the combination of prior life of being somewhat bookwormish meshing in with his new body's mental faculties being particularly powerful due to racial abilities. After resting enough, the quest screen popped up which further interested the reincarnated boy in this new world, his eyes moving down the list. He disregarded the ones that had him guard other sentient beings and went for the easiest, using it as a way to get comfortable with this new body as well as learn how to handle live steel. And also to try out his new power in a setting that was pretty much catered to noobs. "I know what my limits are and only a fool would try to bite off something they can't handle without planning or forethought. I accept the Citrouille Dungeon quest." The bluenette elf said with a straight face, not caring about dignity and going straight for safety.

Takeyoshi Sakujima- 図書館で勉強する

The next few days passed by in a flash for Takeyoshi; by some miracle, the tengu had managed to find what he had hoped to; a library dedicated to the collection of information. Given the current 'feel' of the era from what he had encountered thus far, the logical solution that he had come to was that... Well, the standard for literacy was probably all over the place. Without things like the printing press (as far as he saw, most of the works were copied by hand), it only made sense...
Which made finding this place all the more important to him. Left mostly untouched as the years went by, the old couple looking over the place managed to keep most of the works in what seemed to be pretty good condition. A small amount of conversation later, he found that this library was left unvisited, for the most part. Being his usual goal-oriented self (and being an oddity for even stepping into the library in the first place), Takeyoshi asked to be taught the written language of the Celestial Empire. They seemed to oblige.

Of course, knowledge wouldn't mean anything without a meal on the table, and though he had spent the last few days feverishly reading over texts and digging up as much information as he could about the world as a whole. Most of the texts seemed to be historical in nature, which he didn't particularly mind; the lack of practical texts, however, did bug him. Also the fact that he had to be a member of a certain religion to get anywhere. Damn his old atheist tendencies!
...
Well, he could probably pass it off well enough, so long as there wasn't anything like mandatory church service. Screw that.

The sudden growling of his stomach reminded him of the problem at hand once more, though; the old couple had been kind enough to give both him and Miyu meals every day, but Takeyoshi hated the issue of debt looming over his head. If there was anything he wanted to avoid like the plague, it was debt. Surely, he'd have to pay them back for everything in the future; such good Samaritans deserved as much.

The sudden appearance of that damn ol' popup window straight out of a game pulled him back to reality, though; a bunch of quests came up, just as the first one had. Scanning them over, Takeyoshi began to mumble to himself.

"Hrm... Dungeon, turf wars, extermination, and exorcism... Not getting involved in gang fights and management, no combat skills to speak of, incorporeality plus bodies piling up... Seems like the only way we're getting funds is through a dungeon run. Miyu's gonna be all the firepower until I can find some magic tomes or something to learn off of, though..."

It truly was a miracle, his ability. Learning the language of the Celestial Empire was easier--much easier--than he had expected. Being a phonetic language made it a tad easier, though the words still felt weird coming out of his mouth as he was trying to flip back and forth between the languages and sentence structures in his head. Learning a language in a matter of days was in and of itself a miracle, but he certainly wasn't going to complain about that.

"Miyu, you wanna go for the dungeon? It seems to be the fastest route to some money without having to loot rotting corpses, it seems," he remarked, picking up another scroll off of the pile next to him and beginning to scan it over.

Giovanni Lionson

There was a deep, low grumble. A fiery predator, claws, eyes, spikes and all jumped out at him with a menacing hun- "Hey mon, do you have any idea where the Palepi Imps are?" asked the brightly coloured Giovanni, standing in front of a very old homeless man. Well, man wasn't really the right word. More like lizardman. The lizardman looked up at him with wide eyes and pointed at his face, dreadlocks and all. He tried to calm the bearded dragon-thingie but he just picked up his things and ran like no tomorrow. The adventurer merely looked down at himself, muscled body, bright green sleeveless shirt, shorts and sandals. There wasn't anything threatening about him, was there?

'Oh yeah, I'm a bloody lion.' He had arrived at this damnable place three days ago, having awoken in some dingy town after his resurrection. He thought it was a joke at first, some reality show about what a man would do when he thought he died and awoke in a fantasy world. Well, that's what he thought until he looked into his reflection. He was shocked, at first, he thought that the "create a character" deal was some vision from all the joints he'd smoked a night before. Then the shock turned into pleasant surprise. He had based his face on the famous reggae lion, dreadlocks and all. Though he didn't have any headphones to listen to any beats, he looked cool. And he had powers.

His stomach growled once more, his hunger for meat grew. His eyes flickered tiredly from where the homeless man was, dreadlocks raised in the wind. It was one of the lonelier parts of the city, dark alleyways, thugs and all. It was what he was used to. Sighing, he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked through the lonely streets. With each step, the beast inside him grew. His mouth salivated at the sight of meat, from the birds in the sky to the children playing in the playground. With hunger, came the thirst of blood on his fangs. With the thirst, came disgust in himself.

Three days of no food would be discomforting but not difficult for humans. For Leon's however, no food meant deathly hunger. The pain was excruciating, he always had that urge to bite into anyone's open neck. 'Maybe I didn't choose the right race...' His thoughts were full of doubt as with each step, the pain got worse and worse. Passing by a dark alleyway, he heard screaming in the dark. Peering into the shadows, he found a horrifying scene. Two large oafs cornered this little girl or maybe a Halfling woman? He was never sure in this world. The dark gleam in their eyes, large hands reaching out to her. He had never been a hero before. Why start now? He could walk away and look for food and ignore this girl. Food... He grinned. He could do both.

He leaned on the wall next to the entrance, hearing the screams and struggles of the girl inside. Feeling the power inside him, he began singing. He started the beat of the song, his soul flaring slightly. He had experimented with this trick, it was useful. He felt a small tingle inside, heart pumping a little faster than normal. He sang, hands beating on his muscular legs.

"I know this little girl
Her name is Maxine
Her beauty is
Like a bunch of rose
If I ever tell you 'bout Maxine
You would a say
I don't know what I know
(But)
"

He sang quite loudly but not enough to put the oafs out of there stupor. A birdman took notice of him singing and raised an eyebrow before continuing it walk. He was mostly alone. He felt a tingle on his fingertips, heart pumping fast-like.

"Murder she wrote
(Fi real fi real)
Murder she wrote
Murder she wrote
Murder she wrote
"

"Watch ya now, it name
A pretty face and bad character
Dem the kinda livin
Can't hold Chaka (Follow me)
A pretty face
And bad character
Dem the kinda livin'
Can't hold Chaka
Seh gal yuh pretty
Yuh face it pretty
But yuh character dirty
Gal yuh just act too flirty flirty
Yuh run to Tom, Dick
An' also Harry
An when yuh find yuh mistake
Yuh talk bout yuh sorry
Sorry, sorry (Come now)
"

As he sung longer, the power in him grew, green and red flecks of power flickering around him. His skin had barely visible golden aura about it, glowing in the dark streets. He was beginning to gather a crowd, the strange and almost sweet sounding reggae was new to the people of this city, his voice echoing against the walls of the narrow street. The crowd began smiling, feeling a new type of happiness listening to the music. They felt a warm soothing feeling inside, feeling tingling in their fingertips.

As he continued to sing, he felt stronger and stronger. He felt like he could lift a car, jump onto a two story building, run a 24-hour marathon. He felt the power seep everywhere, his voice getting louder and louder. He felt his head bob, dreadlocks going with the flow. He began dancing, inviting ladies up to dance with him. Or the common people, reggae was freedom. To these people, the rejects, the drunkards, the homeless, the prostitutes and the criminals, it was power.

He roused the crowd to sing with him, drowning out the screams and cries. He started to reach out towards her, filling her with power and strength. He felt one of the imbeciles grab her, putting rough hands on the soft, tear-stained cheeks. They haven't touched her much yet. 'Let them feel the power of my reggae music!' He was starting to finish, pumping the woman up with even more of his power, singing at the top of his lungs. The crowd gave him money, believing that he was a desperate, young singer, wanting some money.

As he sang, he felt the girl in the alley realising her power, fighting back. A fist burying in a gut, a kick to the groin, a slap to the face. Teeth flew, blood splattered and bones cracked. Vanni laughed as he felt himself finish the song, the beat slowing down. As he finished up, he begun picking up the money and pocketing it in his pockets. Stealing from the poor? Maybe, but these people chose to do it. Sure they were hazed but even high people had consciousness. Kind of.

"Now yuh heard about
This little girl her name is Maxine
Her face is like a bunch of rose
Man a if I ever tell you bout Maxine
You would a say I don't
Know what I know
"

There was a loud crash boom as one of the two thugs flew out of the dark, crashing into the wall. The crowd separated, coming out of the musical trance and running out of their. Moments later, as the street cleared, an irate near-naked woman, now identified as a Halfling, marched out dragging one of the oafs out of the alleyway. Clearing his throat, Vanni looked at the woman with a predatory grin.

"Ma'am, I believe that they are mine." She may not have understood what he meant but he flashed a fang. She understood perfectly. She raised a fist to punch the living shit out of him but it was held by a held out hand. Her power had been sucked out of her, returning her to her normal state. And compared to the highly muscular, powered Leon brawler, a Halfling's punch was nothing.

He flashed another fang, scaring the woman away. He looked upon his prize, hunger like fire in his eyes. He opened his mouth, grabbing the thick man's head and placed it in his crushing jaws. And then he paused. "What the fuck am I doing?!" He jumped away from the breathing man's body, wide eyes. His hunger pushed him on, telling him to deal the killing blow. Feast on his corpse, it said, quench your thirst. His humanity stopped him.

He stared at his hands, flesh and human. But it was lie. He was no longer human. He was some lion vampire. So why did he stop now? Giovanni stared at the oaf's unconscious body before shaking his head, stripping the man of his trench coat and put it on himself before turning around. His stomach was growling again but he wasn't about to bite someone's head off. He buried his head into the coat, grabbed a joint from his short pockets and lit it up, taking a long drag. It was time to visit Yazai's largest arena.

Miyu Wants Her Candy, also she's in this Celestial Empire place

"If it will finally get me some candy like I deserve, sure!"

It had been several days, now, since candy had been proposed. And although Miyu had gotten plenty of meals, she had no candy. Not a single piece. She did know this was due to a lack of money, but still! She had done a good job, therefore praise and candy were absolutely warranted. She sat, arms folded, across from Takeyoshi, eyeing him as he looked over the scroll. He had done a good job of getting information, at least. Miyu herself had... admittedly not done much of anything. Aside from taunt people who annoyed her and test out the projectile spell she had used against that dog monster several times, firing the orbs of magical energy high into the sky in order to get a feel for it.

To put it simply, the proposal of getting more money by running through a dungeon sounded like a good idea to the tiny, blonde mage girl. It meant they'd have something to buy her candy with. And of course, she'd be praised. Of course she would be, there was no way Miyu wouldn't just blow through everything in something like that.

"I'll just blast through everything," she added, with a confident, fanged grin. "It says 'Medium' difficulty, so that's like the normal difficulty most people should be able to handle, right? That means it'll be trivial for me!"

Dragon Rayo's eyes had blinked. He held onto his head for a moment; something had popped up inside his head. It was immediately that he had gained knowledge of certain errands throughout the town. The luchador stepped back and let the information settle. His ears perked once he heard Orion had got the message too.

Rayo was relieved to know Orion got the same information. He had not been entirely trustful towards the guy; there was no way of proving Orion had been telling the truth before so it was just a matter of keeping cautious of him at all times. Luckily, he was part dragon so that's something they could both relate towards.

Rayo scratched his chin. The haunted house quest did look like the best option. Him and Orion could get an apartment which was a major priority. Having a roof over their head's will surely be more comforting than sleeping on rooftops. Rayo's eyes widen, "Mi abuela might have taught me a few things about the supernatural. I'm not sure my punches will be effective...cuz' you know. They are ghosts."

Rayo then cracked his knuckles. "Well, let's do it. I also want to see you in combat, little chico."

Eventually the group arrived to a grand city with beautiful scenery and towering structures. Tori was mesmerized by the sight. She never would've thought that she would be able to see such sights in her life. Well, her existence, at least. Nonetheless, Tori couldn't help but smile. Here she was, doing things that most people in her world could only dream of. Seeing strange beasts, collecting loot, it was almost like a video game, except that it was real.

Then a window popped up like last time. This time, though, instead of a single quest, there were four. Tori examined each one, wondering which one she should pick. She immediately ruled out The Warmag’s Band, thinking she wasn't anywhere near prepared enough for that quest. The Rousilon was pretty interesting, but she decided not to do that one either. Eventually she decided to take the Citrouille Dungeon quest. It seemed like the easiest, plus she might be able to find a good beast partner to start with.

One of the people in her group, who Tori thought looked like a girl, apparently decided to go for the Dungeon as well. Summoning her courage, Tori went over to Velte, smiling, and asked, "M-Mind if I join you?" Tori was still a bit nervous about everything, but she was slowly becoming accustomed to it. Besides, it was good to at least have one friend.

Orion - ゴースト狩り

Him? Fight? Oh no. Defiantly not. If there was anything Orion was planning on doing in this place it was not fighting. Of course he didn't really want to sound like an utter wimp so he would have to play it off. "Me?" he asked incredulously, the (fake)surprise evident in his voice, as though he had never considered the possibility. "I don't think I'm much of a fighter. Besides, you said it yourself, punches probably won't work if there really is a ghost anyway." He kept hoping that there wasn't really a ghost and it was just some stupid story but he knew that a ghost probably was there, and probably very angry. Either one was bad enough but both together was bad news. Still having somewhere to sleep would be really nice. After a few questions from some fairly nice looking people and a bit of walking Orion found himself outside the haunted apartment. Well things should be totally fine. He'd failed the last quest but he'd only like half failed it. Besides he had muscles with him this time. "Well alright! Let's get going!" Orion said cheerily and entered the building cautiously. All they had to do was get rid of the ghost. Easy. Besides, Rayo said his mom or whatever had told him a few things about ghosts so he should totally know how to get rid of it. If not they could just go through it systematically. Salt, tomato sauce, iron, all the normal things that kept ghosts away. "What's your plan big guy?" Obviously Rayo would have some idea of what to do and they would work from there.

Wannabe Hero Ranca Blom

Ah, the big city! Finally, something more familiar. Well, kind of. After all, it was a bit more... Medieval than what she was used to. Well, probably more on the renaissance side of things but Ranca wasn't going to dwell too much on what part of history a fantasy world was more like. She was never that great at history anyway, and that was beside the point. What was important right now, really, was the sudden list of quests that had popped up in front of her face. Just like a video game! Kind of.

Again, dwelling on things too much wasn't something she planned to do. So instead, after thinking over what was the best course of action then discarding this information and going with her gut feeling, she selected the "Messenger Quest".

"Guess I'm sticking with Char!" Ranca laughed, pumping her fists in excitement. After all, this was a whole new world for her to explore, and what wasn't cool about that? And really, it was probably best to stick around with the slightly-less-crazy-than-she-initially-thought crazy sword lady for now, since she knew way more about this world than her. And really, a courier mission was really just an easy way to learn her way around town. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much trouble...

Takeyoshi Sakujima- スクロールを読みながら話している

"I've told you this every day since we've been here: imposing on our hosts like that by asking for luxuries is just asking for trouble! Once we get things that we can sell off at a pawn shop, you'll get your candy and we can pay them back for all they've done!" Takeyoshi responded in turn, his straight-man act feeling oddly fitting for this situation. "But, uh... Yeah. So long as you don't damage anything that we can sell off later or anything that I might be able to get more info from, you're free to go buck-wild."

The scroll in his hands, it seemed, was an epic of sorts; one in a series, which he hadn't yet found the beginning to. Lamenting that fact, Takeyoshi put it to the side to read at a later time before standing up and walking over to the desk up front, where the old woman was sitting by calmly, waiting for any more visitor.

"Excuse us, but my friend and I will be leaving for the moment. We'll surely pay you and your husband back in the future, but for now I'm going to have to trouble you with a request to stay a while longer," Takeyoshi stated, bowing low in front of their patron here.

"Don't worry about it, don't worry about it! Our children have long since left and had children of their own; you two being here reminds us of when they were young, and it brings back a small spark into our lives," she responded, waving her hand as if to show it meant nothing. Takeyoshi, however, didn't feel that to be... Right.

"No, no; I insist that we pay you back in the future. Honestly, thank you for supporting us here."

The old woman began to open her mouth again to respond, but decided that not doing so was for the better and instead gave Takeyoshi a warm smile.

"If you say so. Well, good luck to both of you, then."

"Thank you."

With that exchange of dialogue over, Takeyoshi beckoned for Miyu to follow along as he walked out the door, closing his eyes and trying to remember where the dungeon was supposed to be from a map...

Until he opened them again to see that the buildings (more like giant floating prisms, really) seemed to stretch into the sky a few blocks away, seeming to coalesce into something like a model of a molecule gone terribly long. How could he be so absentminded already? Had his face been stuck in scrolls long enough for him to forget common sense?

"Okay, I'm honestly not expecting much on the first few floors; it's very likely they've been cleaned out quite thoroughly by now. If we want anything good, we need to start scaling that thing and examining things very carefully; maybe if we're lucky, we'll find something once we start hitting floor... Well, a good estimate would be floor 40 or 50, assuming we're able to to make it that far. The good stuff will probably start popping up... Maybe ten or twenty floors more?. Of course, that's assuming we even get there. Maybe I'm overestimating, but at least it's better than going in with the expectation to get good money before floor 10," Takeyoshi said, rattling off his thoughts to Miyu (who he assumed to be at the very least walking alongside or behind him as he went). "You can use your magic as a light source, right? We might be able to use that and save some money, assuming it wouldn't impact your ability to fight that badly."

Time for Eri to be a hero now, and maybe the Dunk Lord too

Eri's stomach churned as he looked over his options yet again. It was the quest window again, and from past experience it had only brought him strife. He'd entered Yar and the quest window had appeared, and he'd spent a while mulling over what to do.

Which one do I choose... He thought.

He'd had bad experiences with medium quests, so maybe he should go for the easy dungeon quest... But he'd leveled up now so maybe medium quests would be easier? Unless it was the kind of system were difficulty actually changed with level and it would've been hard before... He felt like crying again. Between the time he'd died and the time now, he'd only gotten a gold-trim basketball and that wasn't exactly reassuring. He didn't know what his class did or if leveling up had even done anything for him... Maybe he could just not take a quest and live his new life in peaceful bliss...

But some part of him didn't want that. He didn't know why but he wanted to do a quest. He wanted to see all there was to see in the world, the New World, and maybe one day stand high above it, seeing how far he'd come...

"Ah, maybe I should find a friend..." He said.

That made sense to him. If he wasn't able to do much alone, maybe he should have someone else. Perhaps he'd been lonely once when he couldn't remember, but as soon as he thought about having a friend he knew he couldn't do without one. But well, who was going to be his friend? Two of their party were already together and he felt like he might be intruding on something if he joined them. It looked like it wouldn't matter to Mimori whether she had friends or not... Which meant that left only Ranca.

Even though she looked fine on her own Eri felt like she should have people around her. Maybe if he joined her it could start something. He walked behind her and tugged hesitantly on her shirt(jacket... thing?)

"E-E-Excuse me!" He squeaked out. "C-Can I come with you? Please?"

Mimori's Messenger Mission

"You have chosen the courier job as well?"

It was hard not to overhear the other girl's selection. Naturally, Mimori only thought it was right to assist Charlotte in any way possible, after the fiery redhead had helped them so much. It would quite simply be wrong to do otherwise. Besides, it seemed like a good job in terms of getting to know the place, didn't it? Mimori had firmly made this decision moments before her fellow... reincarnated... individual had done so as well. Truthfully, Mimori deeply desired to experience this place more, as much as she could. After all, learning about it more seemed to be the best possible idea in terms of her path in the future, regardless of what happened.

"In that case, we can both pursue it as allies," Mimori added, with a smile at the hooded girl. She also wished to make her explorations with an ally, and Ranca seemed like a highly exuberant, but good choice of partner. At the very least she did not seem to be totally foolish, so there was certainly that going for her. "I'm certain Charlotte will be thankful for our assistance."

Noob Quest

"I've no problems with you wanting to join. Rather, you don't need to ask permission in the first place since we're equals." The elf said with a vaguely tsundere-ish attitude as he played with his hair to keep his fingers from fidgeting, a bit nervous himself that someone was planning to join him. Even if the quest did say that it was pretty low leveled, there was no guarantee that nothing could go wrong. And with someone else going along for the ride, the boy felt a bit more enthused to try to help her out too since she was in the same boat and seemed shy. Clicking the mission on the list, the newly reborn adventurer extended a slender and dainty hand (somehow even more than her previous form and that one was female!) on over to the girl. "Since we're on the same party... the name's Velte, I guess. It'll help with communications if we know each other's names." And thus did more tsuntsun happened.
