Hi and welcome to my hopefully successful rp.

So essentially this rp takes place in an AU of the universe created by the game Digimonstory Cyber Sleuth with similar elements to the game but not 100% like examples being the plot will take a different direction and at most characters from the game might be mentioned and only really 100% important ones. It will start similar though to the games intro you know chat room someone mentions digimon then you eventually get one and the fun begins.

I'll be fairly quite about the plot until I make the first IC post or if anyone asks though I'll gladly say stuff except who the villain is but here's a small spoiler yes eaters will be in the rp and yes they will attempt to steal your characters data if unlucky also yes will have digital shifts beacuse I though they were cool little dungeons.

Anyways onto the good part character creation info and digimon info.

So you initially can choose to be a normal average person or choose to start as a very low level hacker. Your starting digimon can be no higher then in-training (training II for people only familiar with cyber Sleuth) but can pick almost anything not limited to the ones in the game I'm allowing access to any digimon you want eventually but I will enforce some rules.

I did have a question about Generation because I've not seen it used before in reference to digimon. Do you mean like with Pokemon (Gen 1, Gen 2, etc.), or is it in reference to baby, in-training/rookie, champion, ultimate, mega?

Personality: Isacc is a fairly cheerful guy usually keeping a good mood throughout the day. He is also fairly kind hearted and likes to help those in need. Though alot of people think he's weird as he'll end up doing things other would treat as odd. He thinks of digimon as living creatures and wont treat them like a program and thus has a good relationship with them. Isacc is abit of a recluse though and doesnt tend to interact to much with others outside Eden and chat rooms.

History: Isacc is a fairly lucky person he always had a fairly normal boring life nothing bad really happening to him he spent most his free time on the internet or playing video games though so never really made much friends outside virtual ones. When Eden was first in beta he was lucky enough to get into the closed beta though his life changed forever when that happened. He doesn't much remember the day however just that he was a beta tester. When the official Eden went up he was probably one of the first people to enter it. Around the age of 18 he managed to somehow find his way into Kowloon where he encountered his first few digimon. He managed to get the capture program and quickly became friends with a Hackmon and they decided they'd team up.

Personality: He is an energetic digimon who has a bad habit of acting without thinking. Though he always has good intentions and will help anyone in need so he's kinda weird like his tamer Isacc. He dreams of one day becoming a royal knight.

Personality: Saya is a cheerful and fun loving individual, though at times she may not seem like it. She loves to go out and have fun with her friends, drinking, dancing, doing whatever she wants. However, once the night ends, and the sun showers Japan in its glow, she can be found in one place: Eden. Though, as mentioned, she is cheerful and loves to have a good time, she is also extremely intelligent. She loves to learn new things. Eden is one of the few places where she can go to learn anything she wants, where no one will judge her, or call her a "nerd," or a "geek,". When she goes to Eden, she loses herself. She loves computers, and technology in general, and almost always has the most recent tech release she can get her hands on.

History: Saya had a relatively normal life. At least, as normal as a child prodigy could have. Her mother always said that she learned to code before she learned how to walk. She was often in the news when she was young, winning one award or another, but she seemed to disappear around the time she turned eleven. That was when she finally told her parents that she didn't want to be recognized as some little starlet. She just wanted to be a normal kid. Her parents, being supportive of her, and wanting her to be happy allowed her to fade into the recesses of obscurity. When Eden was launched, Saya was beyond excited. The girl did everything she could to get into the closed beta, and she succeeded. It was there that the world of hacking opened up to her. She started off small, with simple programs that created amusing little accessories, or deformities to avatars.

As time progressed, and Eden opened to the public her programs became more and more advanced, but were never more than fun pranks. She never stole someone's account information, or caused any harm to anyone within Eden. Though, at some point she was contacted by another hacker, an acquaintance of hers who told her they had found an interesting program that she should check out. They then sent her a download link. Out of curiosity she downloaded it, finding the program to be called Digimon Capture. At the time, she didn't know what a "Digimon" was, and so she tried to mess around with the program's code. That was a mistake.

The program overtook her avatar and caused her to "log in" to Kowlooon. Though she'd been there before, having gone to Galatica Park, she'd never noticed anything strange about it, and hadn't delved much deeper than the park itself. This time, though, she was dropped off in the middle of lvl 1 and wasn't sure where to go to get out. After a bout of aimless wandering, a Wanyamon happened upon her. At first, she was afraid, and tried to run away from it only to find herself face to face with a not-so-friendly Koromon. The little digimon tried to attack her, but Wanyamon protected her, and defeated the Koromon.

Because of Wanyamon protecting her, Saya took to believing that digimon are living, breathing creatures. Wanyamon became her partner shortly after defeating the Koromon.

@Celaira Good so far but so you know the first event is where you get your digimon but thats fine you can still have it join that way and you will start in that part of Kowloon so it's fine just know you will get trapped for abit since you get locked up.

@Cerberus0807 I'm writing my post now. To clarify something the game doesn't really go into... Since our characters aren't half-cyber (yet?) how are we going about connecting to Eden? In the beginning of the game it seems like just any other computer chatroom, doesn't seem as though their avatars are fully present until a bit later. So are the chatrooms and Eden two separate entities? Or do you still need a terminal to get into a chatroom?

Just curious, do we start with Rookie, or younger?

@Celaira oh the beginning of cyber sleuth your actually in a normal coatroom on the internet Arata actually even points out at one point it was your first time using eden so think of it like the free area or eden entrance it'll be more they just are walking around in an area like the entrance actually it's exactly like the area you pop up in when you first return to eden. you know the open area with all the people hanging around.

I think it's In-training to Rookie level is what we can start with. So, like, you could start with a Koromon, or an Augumon. I could be wrong though.

@Otaku95 i'd prefer in training my characters excuse is hackmon doesn't exactly have an in-training form and he's had him for 2 years lol.

@Celaira just outta curiosity and for starting conversation what chapter are you on in Cyber Sleuth? since you mentioned platinum sukamon I assume around 10? since I had only a few ultimate's by chapter 10 myself.
