And here is my character.
Name: Gri “Gray” Hughes Age: 17 Gender: Male Race: Human Weapon Name: Funesti Decus Weapon Appearance: It takes the form of a standard Atlas Guard gun with a streak of white the separates the top part from the bottom one. It looks very basic at first but the white line actually serves as the ‘folding’ point of the weapon. Weapon Type: Transformable and Dust Compatible Dust used: Fire Dust [and explosions] Lightning Dust Gravity Dust Weapon Range: Medium, Short [It becomes inaccurate in very long distances] Weapon Transformations: Version 1: It’s main and most used form is when it takes the form of an Atlas Guard gun. When not mixed with dust, it usually bursts out a single concentrated ball of energy at high speed. It is actually burst fire but the interval between shots is only a second or two in between as long as the trigger is pulled. The white line turns into another color when dust is inserted. Version 2: Frequently used in tight situations, the gun unfolds itself into a 4 ft. single bladed sword with the white line in the middle this time. Like its original version, it can intake dust and use its properties for better offensive power. Version 3: The sword can be separated into two more swords but it loses its ability to incorporate dust into it. Personality: Gri is a very laid back type of person, never seemingly worrying about anything in life. He could be seen either lounging it out in the courtyard or in the library. Two things he does in the library: Sleep or maybe read a book or two. He is not usually seen studying though but he gets good enough marks, average at best. He’s an easygoing, friendly guy who helps others when they need it. He doesn’t look like it but he’s different on the field. He always seems to drop his guard, leaning his gun on his shoulder and just looking around. But he is attentive to his surroundings, both in sight, sound and smell. He uses this to his advantage and counter-attacks when he can, turning the surprise onto the attacker. After that though, he is seen on high alert but does not fail to listen to a leader’s orders. He feels indifferent towards the Faunus, not really caring about them nor giving them any form of special attention. He isn’t scared of them either. The White Fang may be planning something but that doesn’t necessarily mean that every single Faunus out there is evil and joined said organization. Even if they did, they still didn’t do anything horrible to him so he never bore any ill will towards the hybrids. Bio: Gri grew up on Atlas, raised with the mindset that he should work for the Atlesian Guards. His father was a high ranking officer in the military while his mother was a huntress. One could easily deduce that his childhood isn’t all happy and exciting. It involved a lot of training every day once he hit the age of 7. He never did say anything about it but he was very different from what he was then and what he is now. Before he was very serious and didn't have time to laze around. However, when he became an exchange student in Vale, he noticed the major difference between Atlas and the other countries. He wanted to become a hunter and study in Atlas. He shared his thoughts with his father who bellowed in rage and made him forcible join the Atlesian Guards at a young age of 11. Multiple times, he was bruised and battered but he did not lose the confidence that he will become a hunter of the highest order. When he was 14, he was sent to guard the Schnee Dust Company and he met the owner's daughters. He had seen them train their semblances and once, he tried it. And lo and behold, he managed to release it when he wanted it to but it was only a mere snake. At the age of 16, however, he found himself in a Weapon company acting as a guard. It was the Dracul Weapons Company. He was tasked to guard it under the direct orders of the owner of the Schnee company because they were business partners. He once said this before, "Why do I always find myself in companies such as this?" When he reached 17, he was given Funesti Decus which he designed himself for extra protection. He wasn’t exactly the one who gave the name but an old man who watched him design the weapon. It was his master in the range. A kind old man who has retired from the Atlesian guards. This was also the old man who helped him escape his parents and the Atlesian Guards and enter Atlas Academy. Apparently, his position allowed him to pass without taking the examination because of he already underwent training. Before he came to Academy, however, he was sent to Vacuo to investigate Whitefang. Unfortunately, he and his comrades were attacked by the Grimm and they were nearly wiped out. He survived along with another. Since then, he was more determined to become a hunter to avenge his comrades. Note: When he first used his semblance to summon a Grimm, it went wild and started attacking everything so he was forced to defeat it. One needs to train really hard to get a monster of that size under control. Currently, he can control them. Since then, he gave up his more serious side for a more laid back attitude but he hasn't forgotten his goal, to become one of the respectable hunters and avenge his comrades in some form or another.. He isn't being funded and is just ignored by his father. Sometimes his mother comes around but she is a huntress and she doesn't have much time to check up on him. He didn't seem to care though as he was perfectly happy to become a Hunter. Semblance: Gri has the capability of summoning previously fought enemies, most likely the Grimm. He has been seen to use this when extremely needed. He has seen to summon an Ursa Major or a King Taijitu, both of which were his first kills in a patrol outside of Atlas. They are, however, more easily defeated than its original counterparts. One needs training so the summoned creature won't go wild. The bigger it is, the harder it is to control. Emblem: It somewhat looks like the Atlas Emblem with three diagonal claw marks on said emblem

Gri stands at a height of 5’8” and weighs averagely. His combat suit is actually the Atlesian Guard’s uniform which he has kept as a reminder of his fallen comrades. He is shows to wear his casual outfit in fights sometimes showing that he is quite comfortable in both the armor and the other set of clothing. Both of these, however, display his emblem at the back. He also carries around many dust cartridges.
P.S. [@OneWayOut] I mentioned your character's company in his history and just say if it's not allowed and I'll edit it out.
