That's alright, but if you change your mind there's still plenty of time before Heroes and Demi-gods can be introduced to the IC so you can pretty much return whenever you want.

All of my gifs is for joke.

Oh, good lol

I was worried this sudden influx of friends would bother people is all

Edit: @Legion02 I found a song that I think would fit Reathos' unnamed death knight/wraith things pretty well! Although it kind of has a PS2 RPG feel to it.

The creatures of the Deformed Sea, perhaps due to their unnatural source, were unperturbed by the destruction descending from the heavens. They continued as they had done before - here was one feeding on another, and here was another fleeing a potential predator, and there was one taking its prescribed sleep. They were not creatures with enough mind to understand that it was doom that descended upon them. Perhaps that was the vital difference between Life's creations and the creations of the Deformed Flesh.

Just a note based on this quote. The life present in the Fractal Sea at the moment is entirely 'natural', in that it is ultimately still a product of Slough's activity. Jvan may have edited them to hell and back, but she has used their own materials to do so. You can paint over a portrait, but to turn it into a sculpture or poem is an entirely different matter. So far the only forms of unnatural life Jvan has created are the Jvanic Eyes and the Embryonic Angels; The latter are hybrid and both are purely functional.

That said, next turn she is going to reveal the designs of the first species she has created entirely by herself. As promised, here they are: Big, hairy, and sudden.

Thanks ;) By the way, you aren't taking into consideration Ulls speshul MP sauce when calculating? At the end of this turn, Ull will be at The RG stage. Just a heads up.

Oh yes! I was going to ask you about that. Since we've had billions of years pass, I had no idea what stage Ull would be add come next Turn. Reed Giant, will take that into account ;)

<Snipped quote by Kho>

Dear god, Kho! Please change the font colour to white when it has that red background!

(That's cool though. Do you reckon you could copy/paste that into a google doc that we can view but not edit? Might be useful for reference ;) )

xDD will change it, no worries. And I'll see if I can, not great with google docs but will try

Nary have I seen a creature so cute while at the same time being so creepy. That is a cool creature.

Just so they aren't justified in ganging up on and killing all of the white giants, I'll note that white giants are very predictable in their patrol patterns. I can see them being very easily avoided by wily fibrelings with how fast they can go.

On a lighter note...do these hairballs cough up cats? Are we on that level now?

@Muttonhawk Thank you~ I'm honestly so chuffed with these little shits, even though there's still some contradictions in their sheet and I haven't added their means of observing their surroundings yet. Mostly vibration. Partially horror magic.

They're very unlikely to wipe out the White Giants, but they may target individuals that continuously harass a clowder of fiberlings as they pass over the same routes repeatedly, or if several of them in the same area get particularly cocky and curious over time. Clowder is definitely the collective term.

And yes! They excrete cats. Cats are Gap scavengers and this explains an awful lot about them.

I love the Fibrelings!

I'm gonna have Vulamera's hero attacked by a particularly brutal fibreling, I think. It would make for a spectacular fight ;)

Haha, she will have a hero, once there is sentient life worthy of being gifted such an honour

He'll probably respect but not serve Lif

That's good. There will always be room for heroes and demigods in Lifprasil's soon-to-maybe-be empire. Plus it's better to be respected - rather than hated.

Saving it for when he comes into play. Although I've been too lazy to get it cleared by the lord Kho. I should probably do that now actually.

Its "Its better to be loved and feared, but if you had to choose one, its better to be feared". However the Italian word used for fear was temuto, from the latin timuerunt, that doesn't translate well to fear, after all, its common in latin countries to say that word in relation to their devotion to god. Its not a fear in the sense of "My liege is cruel and will behead me" its like "My liege is wise and bad things will happen if I stray from his way"

t.Person who made a whole work about this crap in college

If I could read in Latin, I would. For now, I'll have to settle with the arbitrary English translation.

Fear itself, I feel is an extremely broad term that could encompass both fear of cruelty and fear of competency; however, I also agree the meaning was somewhat lost in the translation.
