I sort of believe when Batman is only just [i]now [/i]getting into the thick of his career where he hasn’t tangled with his more audacious and eccentric villains (The Joker, Two Face, etc.) that it kind of goes beyond my personal suspension of belief. Basically you can sum it up as she’s a legacy character that hasn’t debuted in-continuity and has been changed to accommodate player interest rather than storytelling dynamic. This is [b]not[/b] an insult towards Blue Demon, who I’ve written with before and completely trust but rather my subjective feelings that “it’s too soon” for both Ivy and Harley. But I can put my preferences aside and put trust in the players and the GM’s, because ultimately this isn’t my personal fan-fiction and it has a different feel than the RP’s I run, so I’m just going with the flow. I just want to point out my personal misgivings.
