- Melee: Itami is highly skilled in martial arts combat and can take on multiple enemies at once. Larger enemies or larger mobs would still take extra effort though.

- Ranged: Being a former hunter, Itami is quite proficient at aiming projectiles, especially the bows and arrows.

- Detective: He is quick to identify clues left behind by someone or something. Whether his inferences from the clues are correct or not is a different story.

[b]Powers:[/b] (He doesn't really name them)
- Power #1: Itami can focus and instantly gain a boost in overall speed and senses for a short period of time. A short of period as extending it would nauseate him. He has no idea where this power comes from since none of his family possesses it.

- Power #2: Itami has a passive power wherein magic accumulates within his body and transforms into protective aura around Itami. This allows him to survive heavy attacks relatively unscathed. However, this quickly runs out as one heavy enough attack is enough to knock the aura out for the rest of the day.
The accumulation seem to quicken the less Itami is in pain though.

[b]Weapons/Equipment:[/b]
- Durable monk staff: A monk staff found off the side of a trail. Serves no magical purpose. Mainly used for melee combat by Itami.
- Bow and arrow: 8 arrows max
- "Medicine": Pain-suppressing drugs that Itami is slightly addicted in.
- Others: Equipment he buys or takes during a case.

[b]Bio:[/b]
The Owari family was a simple farming family, living peacefully away from all the hassle and tassle of the politics of the land. They even had a tolerance of the spirits that lived among them.

However, that changed when his older sister joined the Yasuragiha Guild. Itami would not hear of his sister ever again until a letter came informing the Owari family of her death. The family grieved and their view on spirits degraded. Itami was not satisfied with that and tried his best to uncover the circumstances of his sister's death. After some time, the Yasuragiha Guild had apprehended the spirit that killed his sister and Itami had learned that she was actually working for a human crime lord. Itami and his family's view on fellow humans degraded.

However, Itami's snooping around was not without consequence. The crime lord was on a silencing spree and his family was part of it. Coming home one day from hunting, Itami was greeted with his sacked house and dead family. The criminal group was still there and ripe for revenge. An impossible feat had not a couple of wild spirits rained on the parade, allowing Itami to exact revenge against the crime lord. The act did not give him relief though and Itami was left alone in the world with only grief and memories of his family to accompany him.

Working on the failing farm, the depressed Itami was approached by a family friend who asked him for company in the Yasuragiha Guild. Realizing that there was no longer anything waiting for him in the farm, Itami sold it and enlisted into the Guild along with his friend. A friend who shortly resigned after, leaving Itami all alone in his descent into alcoholism and addiction.
