[@Eklispe][@Leaves][@Damiann47] It is apartment building, not complex, as it says in the quest description. It is not big, its total surface between rooms is less than 100m[sup]2[/sup]. You can fit 3 people in there comfortably, but one person will have to sleep on the couch. Rayo was never more than 10m away from the place where the ghost spawned. Admittedly confusion came because I didn't properly describe the apartment when I set up the scene, I apologize for that. 

PS. What qualifies the apartment (and the building) as "one of the better" is its access to plumbing and lighting (that work because magic) which is not something most homes in Yazai and the whole new world can boast of. It is also in one of the more secure and richer districts, where you can quickly reach various services. There are also few other, smaller, quality of life details, like walls and doors which aren't cardboard, anti-fire charms, soft pillows and beds, etc.
