>Patient Log 1; Pre-Surgery

[i]We discovered the patient outside the clinic doors. Traces of blood indicated his dragged himself to our door by his own volition. Remarkable will to live. Patient have suffered injury at the hand of a close range, small caliber handgun. We have prepped him for surgery but our lack of experience with Drell biology might serve as a problem. Patient have remained remarkably lucid throughout surgery-preparation. Demands we keep his presence and survival secret.[/i]




>Patient Log 21; Post Surgery, Day 2



[i]Patient is resting under intensive monitoring. We managed to remove the projectile and most of its splinter fragments after three hours of surgery. We fear for the worst, the patient have acquired severe nerve damage and his Drell biology has handled the infections poorly so far. There is increasing chance of spinal damage as result of the rampant bacterial growth. We believe whoever shot him might have dosed him in something post-entry wound. [/i]

[i]Yet, The Patient insisted on staying awake for most of the surgery. Not that we had that much of a choice, this clinic has no prior experience with Drell. We were unaware how his body would react to the application of painkillers.[/i]

[i]Patient showed remarkable pain tolerance and calm throughout the operation. But past out almost immedietly after the wound was closed and dressed. We were afraid he might just have given up. It is clear he trusts nobody here, and despite my insurance that not a word will escape these halls, I think he is terrified of being found in a weakened state. He sleeps with his gun still clutched in his hand.[/i] 

>Patient Log 28; Post Surgery, Day 13

[i]He is awake. He is remarkably talkative for a Drell. And even more so for a post-trauma agent. Complains about intense pain in his upper back. We fear his spine has sustained more damage them we had previously discovered or anticipated.  We are giving him a experimental concotion of painkillers and anti-biotics.[/i]

>Patient Log 36; Post Surgery, Day 26

[i]Patient is unable to make a full recovery. He has sustained life altering damage to several parts of his spine it is a wonder he can walk. The infections will return due to a compromised immunity system. The concoction seems to work to stave them off for now, but he will likely have to return periodically. 
It is not a cheap treatment, but the Patient claims to be able to pay for it all.

[i]Patient have left the clinic. I still find him a remarkable individual, having such a strong will to survive. But I recognice those eyes anywhere, Drell, Asari or Human. He's driven by dark and violent impulses. The Drell as a species possess a unique sense of memory, I can only speculate as to how powerful a memory being shot in the back must be. Whoever he is hunting, should be very afraid. [/i]
