Physical Description: Standing a good 6'4", Roka makes a rather imposing figure. He has a very solid build, and looks like he belongs standing outside a nightclub. He keeps his light brown hair pulled back into a short ponytail, and has a well-trimmed beard, hugging his jawline and arcing up into a moustache, though his chin is kept clean shaven; revealing a small scar on it. The only other major feature about Roka is the mechanical left arm that extends up to his elbow. His outfit is the standard fare aboard the ship, with purple patches on it.

Special Skills: Roka is a genius when it comes to technology, though his appearance suggests otherwise. If given physical access to a system, he can find a way to hack into it. His mechanical hand has several tools build into it to allow him to access machines and make basic repairs to things, as well as to couple himself to a computer. He has a biomechanical implant in his temple which allows him to remotely access any computer system he's familiar with, so long as he's within twenty feet of it. This allows him to 'meld' his mind with the computer for a time, running commands at the speed of thought, and being able to see into the system itself.

Profession: IT specialist/Science Officer.

History: Roka was born to be a mechanic. Literally; his father needed someone to take over the family business. From the time he could walk he was being taught how to work with machines, though it never interested him. He was more fascinated by the technology behind the machines, how the computers ran systems and knew what to do. Several years after his father officially hired him, he convinced his father to open up an IT division of the shop, which he began to run. He still helped out on the mechanical side of things, and one day while working on a particularly stubborn piece of tech he decided to try out the new Compu-Interface implant he'd bought. Becoming distracted by the unfamiliar sensations of merging his mind with a computer, he let his physical attention slip, not realizing his arm was inside the teeth of the machine before turning it on. He woke up weeks later in the hospital, his arm having been amputated after it was ripped to pieces by the computer-guided harvester.

After recovering from his injuries, and saving some money for a few years, he purchased the prosthetic arms he now has, interfaced with his mind to react as though it were a real arm, with some improvements. He began to build his reputation as a competent IT specialist, and was eventually offered a position on a ship, which he accepted gladly. Having never been off-world, he relished the opportunity, and made an agreement with his father that upon his return, he would take over the shop and settle down.

Personality: Roka is a very happy person, quick with a smile or a joke. He wants nothing more than to make people happy, and to see new and exciting things. He can sometimes be impulsive, but his experience with the harvester tempered that a bit. He wants to make new friends wherever he goes, and tends to have a lot of patience for people. However, if someone hurts one of his friends, Roka will hold a grudge towards that person for a very long time, becoming cold, ruthless, and calculating towards them.
