My current concept for a character is a young lord who has come into power after his father passed away from an extended illness. I want to have hime do his best to be a Tully lord and try to follow the family words but also be young and rash. So he's certainly not going to be an isolationist but he probably won't want to trade away his sisters either. I'm thinking of having a wise, old and totally-not-ambitious maester to advise him though, who might push for a marriage to smooth things over.
