Reese was uneasy as tensions continued to rise, still checking his gun subtly as the heated conversation drew on, he wanted to be ready, just in case the man attack their group which seemed like it would be any second now, though was surprised when the new woman they had met made the first move, only to see her attack get deflected by the man and then fire another shot at her.

This wasn't good, he didn't know if the others would move in to do something about the attack, but he couldn't just let someone who seemed nice as she was to be injured any further. Being one of the closest people to her and without thinking, he moved to shield her from the bullet, though he he didn't know if he could move quick enough to take the hit instead of her, he at least had to try.
