Max never did see what was behind her, whatever it was it was gone but maybe Lily imagined though was it really gone? Lily screamed for a moment making Max jump in place as it really freaked her out and also caught her off guard. Maxine's fingers soon left the card she had just touched as Lily spoke up. Max turned to Lily as she heard her friend breathing heavily though she was still unsure what happened but it had to of been something big to hear Lily scream like that. Raising one eyebrow as she heard Lily utter some more words, what she said sounded like a fantasy or dream or nightmare. It was not like Max did not believe her friend, she did in fact, see the bolt spell after casting it against Lily. It seemed Lily calmed herself down after a while.

Maxine shrugged when Lily mentioned why this was happening to them, she had no idea either though just assumed she and Lily were high or having some crazy dream which somehow connected with one another. She was right they had been playing this game for a long time prompting her to say "Yeah you are right though I wonder what triggered it....... Hmmmmmmmmm......" A long pause happened though when it ended Max quickly added "Let's see if it is just me or if it is something to do with you too. I will end my turn and you play a spell or creature...... Maybe both." She sounded crazy and she was not sure if Lily would go for it but she needed to see if this was a real thing. "I am sure nothing bad will happen, I mean you turned out OK from what I heard anyway."

Maxine was not even sure she wanted to find out but if they wanted to play the game again they needed to see if it was safe. Using her right hand she checked to see if she had a fever via checking, her forehead for a temperature though it would be a guess at best. When she checked her temperature she quickly said: "I end my turn." With that said she began to look at the table where both decks were to see if anything happened though she looked around the room every so often even though Lily had yet to play anything though the dark corner of the room still had a presence. Was that where Nocturnus came from, was he still there? Maxine shuddered at the thought before locking her sights on Lily.
