[@Morden Man] true, in the Netflix series he's much more of a real person. I am willing to redact my statement I must say, as I feel when he resurfaces again he's likely to be very different. 

That said, while I do think Clarke's Kingpin is amazing and terrifying I personally feel he wouldn't hold up in a TV series and that D'Onofrio was the right choice. I don't think Clarke in a TV show scenario could do all the filler quite as well as D'Onofrio can, so it's probably a bit unfair to compare the two.
