[color=0072bc][b]Pre-Team Bio:[/b][/color] Jiro Sonoda was born and raised in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. He trained in Shotokan, Okinawan Karate and achieved 2nd dan (2nd Degree Black Belt) when he was 18 years old. He is rapidly approaching the time when he t ests for 3rd dan. The martial arts training has helped keep him in excellent physical condition.

As a young man, he was always interested in technology and what makes something tick. He was forever taking things apart and putting them back together again. It has helped him to learn how things work. He has applied this interest towards his principal interest of computers and computer software. He has self taught him much of what he knows, but also received an undergraduate degree and Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. He learned to speak English in school as well, developing a command of the English language at Berkeley. 

While perfecting his English, Jiro also chose to study Russian at Berkeley. He has been practicing that language while working for WTC Development.

Jiro was hired by WTC Development to work as a Technological expert in their Cyber Division. He has been interested in joining the field agents and worked his way up to the ability for field training. After one years working for WTC as a Tech expert, Jiro participated in a train up to give him familiarization and qualifications with firearms, restraints, criminal law, Legal procedures and International Cyber Law.

Jiro has not suffered a traumatic accident that resulted in the attachment of Cybernetic appendages. Jiro voluntarily received an optic enhancement that provides thermal/night vision as well as an optical zoom out to x8 power. An aural enhancement has given Jiro the ability to enhance sounds, allowing him to compartmentalize sounds and adjust pitch, bass, and rhythms. His artifical hearing allows him to hear with a similar acuity to a dog.

One year ago, Jiro Sonada transferred to the Cyber Crimes division following his training, to include Field training.

[color=0072bc][b]Personality:[/b][/color]  Jiro is fairly laid back with an excellent sense of humor. He maintains a rebellious streak that makes him detest taking orders from higher ups. There is a Freestyle streak that runs through. He knows that he is working for someone else and has no problem doing what he is told, but he is not as disciplined as a soldier is. He has to question everything.  Jiro's beard is his statement to the world that says, "I will do as I please. If it suits me, I will do as you please." He can be quite selfish.[/hider]
