"Make a hole? That's... pretty good, actually. You're pretty smart, know that?" Al smiled at the dog, drawing his greatsword. Indeed, weather and time alone had rotted away good portions of the tower. Knocking a hole in the wall was sure to be an easy task, and best of all, they couldn't booby trap a solid wall. The warrior thrust his sword between the bricks, and drug the blade along the inside, scraping and damaging what was left of the mortar. After several lines, he gave another thrust between a pair of bricks. With a grunt, he attempted to pry the bricks free. Gritting his teeth, he waved for someone to come closer. He'd make them an entrance yet.
