I've only played DMC3 and 4, but I regularly went reading on 1 and 2. I'm still not too sure about Darksiders though, Bayonetta with DMC I can agree with, I've played Bayonetta 1, so I know how the worlds can meld at least, but I've no clue on Darksiders and how it's lore can or will clash with Bayonetta and DMC.
It won't really. Darksiders has heaven and hell, which are populated by angels and demons, just like in the other games (paradiso and inferno are names for the same thing). It has numerous other realms as well, but they don't explicitly clash with anything and we can ignore them if we choose. The main characters in Darksiders are Nephilim, which are a race of warriors approximately halfway between angel and demon, which I can provide more information on, but there are humans as well. At the end of Darksiders 2, the apocalypse is reverted and humanity saved, so there's no real breach in the state of the earth. The Charred Council isn't an authority in hell; it's an authority in the universe. In Greek mythology, if Zeus is king of heaven and Hades king of hell, then the Charred Council is like the fates. It doesn't actually do much itself, but its Councillors are wise and nigh-omniscient, where their authority is derived from.
