Alright [@RedNightHunter], let me address your app. I like your bloodline, the Amethyst vampires who originated in Scandanavia. That's a nice part of the world. You'll have to be the spokesperson for that lineage of vampires in the rp, but they can exist. I just have to ask you to make a few small changes.... We can't have vampires able to conjure up more vampires out of clay. Perhaps you could have them steal a human infant and do some blood ritual that turns the baby. The baby would still be "alive," to be able to "grow up," but at some age it would have to become immortalized somehow... Perhaps it lives life as a kind of human thrall to the Amethyst vampires before finally becoming fully vampire. Elaborate on this. Your other method of turning by biting is ok, but does it just take one single bite? If so, do amethyst vampires always have to kill their victims in order not to overpopulate? Is this why they prefer to feed on criminals and the dying? What about animal blood? Can they bite someone without turning them? Can they enthrall humans in any way? I like that you have them preferring to live close to nature. That makes them seem somewhat druidic or more primitive. Since werewolves tend to live in the far North in this rp, do they perhaps maintain a friendship? I'm going to ask that you keep your Amethyst vampire population to small numbers. There can't be many of them in the world. Maybe have them tend to stay in their own territories and have a stable form of society. That being said, how in hell did Nia end up in China??? Powers: Control of "an element" is ok. I think it should fall under the category of a type of telekinesis. Like, controlling air is just telekinetically producing wind. Same kind of thing would go for water or earth. As for why their telekinesis doesn't extend to all objects is unknown, but because of that, I will let them be really powerful at moving wind. If you want to have them control "fire," well, "fire" is not really an element. It's a chemical reaction with oxygen that produces heat. You'd have to have pyrokinesis, which is not quite the same as moving solids, liquids, and gasses around on a macro scale. I have to reserve the "fire" element from you. (plus, other players might want to have fire be their thing) I think it's fun and interesting that your vampires can benefit from regular food instead of blood. This kind of makes them almost not real vampires, per se. Perhaps you could put something their backstory about them being born from enthralled babies or something... that would make them like some kind of half-vampires. I really don't want to allow dhampires, but I could see a breed of vampire that isn't technically dead/undead." Any kind of vampire that is technically still living, will likely suffer some drawbacks, such as needing to breathe and having lesser speed and strength or regeneration powers. Stopping their heart, like with a stake, will certainly kill them. Maybe daylight and holy symbols are less of a problem. I noticed Nia has many scars, so I assume her healing ability isn't very good. During Nia's training with the monks in China, did her supernatural gifts not afford her an advantage? I want to hear more about how being a vampire affected her training. Otherwise, she looks very interesting. Which element power does Nia have?
