'Clink' wend the grenade. That sound, he could have heard it while drunk and he would still recognize it. 'Clink.' Another step. Another bounce. His brain fired on all cylinders as he doubled back, away from the damn noise. It was only a second later the thing bloomed into flame and shrapnel. Drono threw himself to the side. Shrapnel made walls into swisscheese but missed him as he had been more fortunate then Dex in his position. He winced as she bounced clear down the stairs. But despite it all he still quipped. ”I hate slipping down stairs. Don't you?” Then, as the third grenade went off and feet could be heard, he peeked around let out a staccato burst into the doorway. Yelps and angry screams followed and return fire hailed down. He waited for them to stop. Then immedietly followed Dexs idea of returning fire with some grenades of his own. His throw was hard, and it was aimed with a experts eye. He activated the sticky function as he threw, and instead of the grenade bouncing of the wall, it stuck, right next to the frist bartarian. Then the flashbang exploded in light, chaff, and concussive force. The first bartarian hit screamed ,clutching where Drono assumed his ear was, only to stumble and place his foot to far out. He went down the stairs alot harder then Dex had. ”Such slippery stairs. They really ought' to do something about them.” Drono mused as he placed a single executioner round into the stunned Bartarians head. Up ahead, the others were still clearing their eyes and groaning. All but one voice. A female voice, one that was mighty pissed. ”You useless pieces of shit. Step aside and let me show you how it is done.” The voice was so filled with rage and disdain that Drono wondered if its owner meant to shoot her own allies. He peeked and let out another burst up the staircase only to register a purple glow. And then he was bounced against the cieling and down onto the floor. ”THROW YOUR DAMN GRENADES!” He yelled in a fit of not so suave panic.
