I was hoping to say that they had had a war with one of the other races, which my guys lost and were forced to retreat to rethink their strategy. Essentially, they are now a nomadic fleet that trades their goods and services for genetic material.

Essentially, I wanted to make an Insectoid swarm that aren't just the usual "INFEST, DESTROY, ASSIMILATE!!!" deal.

So, anyone interested in saying their race kicked mines ass a while ago?
