Nikolas Augustine
Nikolas stifled a laugh at Mason's claim of being too adorable to cause trouble, not believing it for a second. It was the cute ones you had to look out for, after all. Before he could respond, Medusa stirred, slithering to the front of his shirt. He'd left his jacket in his dorm, so it was painfully obvious to anyone who looked that he had something in his shirt. Mason stumbled backwards, falling over in the process, and Nikolas cringed in sympathy. Okay, so he hadn't managed to hide his snake this time. Before he could help the other blonde up, he was already on his feet and standing steadily. Pink eyes met purple, and all he could think was wow. Mason's eyes were super cute, but they were panicked, and that just wouldn't do. "Well, I go to this school, too, you see." Nikolas responded smartly, sarcasm lacing his voice. "So I thought I'd talk to my friends. The cute ones come first, you know." Gently touching Medusa through his shirt, he eased her to his side, resting her on his hip. He felt her press herself against his side, appreciating his warmth, and couldn't help the genuine smile on his face. One of the best things about his empathy was how it allowed him to communicate with Medusa, and he took great joy in it. He just wished he could share that with the small blonde in front of him - it wasn't any fun for the cute man to be afraid of his best friend. An auburn-haired man approached the pair, and his face was unfamiliar to Nikolas. Smile faltering for a moment but quickly returning full-strength, he glanced at Mason. "Do you know him?" he asked cheerfully, then turned to the man in question. "My name's Nikolas, who might you be?" he inquired charmingly.
