- Standard battle dress consists of a durable pair of cargo pants -- usually in a versatile brown or green color -- and a short sleeve tee shirt.  For colder weather or when undercover, Alek wears a simple pair of jeans, a button-up shirt, and a brown stealth jacket.

- Mission gear is typically carried on a utility belt with ample real estate for pouches, holsters, or anything else that can be clipped on.  In most situations, the belt is largely vacant save for a pistol holster, two scabbards, and a medium sized pouch for miscellaneous items.  When operating incognito, gear is kept to a minimum and all equipment is allocated to two shoulder holsters hidden under a jacket.  In non-stealthy operations, Alek will sometimes don a chest rig or crossdraw vest.

- Alek's fireams vary based on the mission, but he favors the Jericho 941 .45 handgun.  If more firepower is needed, he will carry a submachine gun, usually one that is compact and can be fired with one hand if necessary.  Alek is familiar with higher-caliber rifles, but his specialization in infiltration and CQB generally renders them useless due to their large size.

- The bread and butter of Alek's gear is the pair of modified jutte he uses as his primary weapons.  Though historically a defensive weapon used to parry and disarm opponents, these baton-like tools have been altered to deliver a powerful kinetic blast upon contact.  Paired with Alek's genetically enhanced dexterity and flexibility, these weapons -- these Krzyże -- are a force to be reckoned with.

A product of selective human breeding, Alek posesses excellent dexterity, flexibility, hearing, and eyesight, making him an ideal reconassaince operative.  The extent of his abilities is unclear, but they are undoubtedly potent; one account recalls Alek snatching a thrown knife out of the air.  With his feet.  While in a handstand.

[b]Backstory:[/b]

Despite being born into a family considered relatively low within the social hierarchy, Alek was brought up well due to his involvement in Illumination's selective breeding experiments.  Like the other children bred through the program, Alek was well-educated in both theoretical topics and practical skills.  Though an excellent subject as far as intelligence and physical abilities were concerned, Alek was very apathetic towards conditioning -- his attitude toward Illumination was not one of loyalty or awe, but rather just a fact of life.  Such an attitude would have resulted in his ejection from the program and subsequent "termination" were it not for a convenient raid on his learning facility by a rebel faction.  The raiders offered freedom for the adolescents, and Alek took the opportunity.

How a man with such potent observational abilities can be so oblivious to social cues is a quandry unsolved.  Alek is a man with a heart of gold, a playful disposition, and an uncanny charisma.  Yet somehow, the man posesses immesurable talent at being intolerable.  His honesty quickly turns into rudeness, his confidence into arrogance, and his playfulness into annoyance.  It's not something he does with malicious intent, but most people don't catch onto that fact.  The ones that do realize such and are able to see past it find themselves with a loyal friend and comrade for life.  Whether they want one or not.
