Eyebrow twitching in a sign of irritation, Sylvia allowed Nurse Gina to check her states before moving away and sitting back on the spiny chair. At the older man's words, her attention shifting to Aleksandr at his sharp words. "He's not really a friend, we just happen to work at the same part-time job. I have workers that attend my bookstore but they are high-school students with busy schedules and lives. I thank you for you offer but I wouldn't wish to be a burden. As for the other offer, I'll pass, it's not that I'm ungrateful for it, it's just I don't know them and it would cause tension. Just like if I were to stay with you two, I let your son yesterday and while he's in a fee of my classes, I can tell he doesn't make an attempt to really get to know people." She shrugged and after a moment sighed and rolled bee shoulders. Her temper and exhaustion was making this more than a little tasking, she focused her gaze on both and tilted her head back to stare at the ceiling. "I'm not sure what to do...I don't have any relatives I'm close to and I'd prefer not to stay here for longer than I must." A sigh left her lips as she thought things through, her ankle giving a faint twinge had a wince stiffening her body before relaxing. She glanced at both once more and noting the tension between them, shrugged her shoulders and glanced at Nurse Gina. The woman was staring at the clipboard in her hands, her brown-gray hair tied in a bun. Her fingers scanned the wodds written and a frown bad pulled her brows down. Sylvia blinked and gritt her teeth, she turned and offered a nod. "I'd like to take you up on your offer if I may, however if I become a burden I'll ask you to drop me off at my home and continue on with your life." She offered after a few moments, hee fingers reaching up to tug at her long strands of hair. Her nose wrinkled when she noticed that it felt thin, crispy between her fingers. She rolled her eyes and let it go, turning to the nurse when she rises to her feet and moved to the wheelchair she'd used earlier. A mixture of annoyance and anger locked at the insides of her stomach as Nurse Gina wheeled it over, a smile on her lips. She hated the damn wheelchair. [@Briza]
