Father Seraphim was not about to defend Aleksandr. It appeared his son's behavior hadn't changed since high school; he was still cold towards people. He had received a few comments in concern to Aleksandr's reserved behavior at Sts. Peter and Paul. If it weren't for Aleksandr understanding the Church services to a T, the Church would probably be very unhappy with their new Reader and rightly so. Father Seraphim had already grown tired of begging his son to be a bit friendlier, and in some instances, perhaps he had given up too soon. It was unfortunate that his behavior still transcribed amongst peers his own age, "We're glad to have you, and likewise, if we become a burden, do let us know," he smiled for a bit, wrapping his prayer rope around his wrist and tucking it under his cassock. Aleksandr said nothing and made no bodily motion that he received her words. He failed to understand why being an introvert was such a crime. He could think of far worse things than being an introvert. If that was her only complaint, then they were going to get along perfectly. He'd stay out of her business, and she would probably stay out of his. As for his father, the nosy one, he could not quite say. It was beginning to rain, again, and the grayness of the sky was a bit depressing looking outside the window. Father Seraphim quickly spoke up in regards to the conditions of the weather, "I'll go get the car, Aleksy, you stay here with Sylv and Nurse Gina," with that he turned and swiftly walked through the hospital. Aleksandr watched his father walk down the hospital corridor and make a turn out of sight. He said nothing, as nothing really was to be said. [@Arista]
